Very cosy place! The yard with the playground, the flowers and the pavilions. You can have tea nad cake at any time of the day for free. Breakfast was rich and of good quality!

the furniture of the rooms. They were not as cosy as the rest of the hotel.

The inn is in an attractive former farmhouse set amidst fields, with a nice setting when looking south and when looking up to 100m north but with a lot of unattractive Autobahn infrastructure (gas stations, etc.) immediately beyond that.

It’s hard for me to see why so many ex-guests rave about this inn though maybe it’s caused by a bucolic setting during April through October. The rooms are large and the bed is okay, but the white walls and minimalist decor give the rooms an unfinished, empty feel. I also do not understand the ecstatic comments former guests make about the breakfast buffet. It was fine but it was more or less a standard Aistrian-German spread. Maybe if you are only used to breakfasts in France or Italy then it’s wonderful but otherwise.... Moreover, the breakfast room is on the first floor up and has only 6 tables but guests are nonetheless invited to take their breakfast at what turns out to be the same hour for all. The room’s acoustics make it a noisy one, noisy enough to disturb me in my room downstairs. having everyone take breakfast at the same hour is handy for the hosts but interferes with one’s enjoyment of it unless one is part of some group of travellers. The bathroom soap dispenserin the shower was empty upon my arrival. No real soap was provided at the sink and only tiny bottles of body wash were offered. The only handy spot for dinner is at a Rosenberger Autobahn restaurant that is easily approached from the back and does not require approach from only the Autobahn. Rosenbergers normally offer very good food despite their highway locations, but this one was the first Rosenberger I have ever visited where I thought the food was poor. And I have no idea where else one can take dinner near the hotel. I might have thought that the hotel hosts would offer printed suggestions in the room but they do not do so.

Very charming little hotel. The owner is friendly and the homemade cake in the breakfast is a lovely touch. All in all nothing to complain about

Parking area is not secured, however area seems safe and we had no issues with a fully packed car

Charming owner and staff. Well appointed large room. Tea & coffee making facilities available in the breakfast area. The WiFi worked well. Beautiful refurbished building, located in a quiet rural setting. Bit of a drive into Linz, but you are already aware of that if you are booking a room. Highly recommended.

Superb accommodation and lovely family owners from daughters to mum and dad. We were warmly greeted by one of their daughters and offered freshly made cake and coffee. Mum even wrote out the recipe of the cake.

Nothing to dislike but would have loved to have read about the history of the hotel but was only written in German in the greetings book in our room.

The most beautiful hotel we have ever been in. Rooms so spacious and comfortable. Breakfast a delight of local produce. On our arrival we were greeted by the owner with a superb cup of coffee and home made cake just out of the oven. We were made to feel very special indeed. Will always make sure we book again whenever in the area.
