Located at 7,560 ft above sea level in the Hohe Tauern National Park, Berggasthof Wallackhaus is right next to the ski slope on the Großglockner, Austria’s highest mountain. The traditionally furnished rooms offer satellite TV and a hairdryer. The Wallackhaus features an atrium with mountain views. In winter, a spa area with a sauna, a steam bath, and an infrared cabin can be used by guests. There is also a relaxation room with panoramic mountain views, and the new Sky Bar. A garage, a dry room with a boot dryer, and a small workshop are available free of charge for motorcyclists. In summer, the cost of the toll for the Großglockner High Alpine Road will be refunded to guests with a minimum stay of 2 nights. In winter, the access road is closed, and the Wallackhaus can only be reached by cable car from Heiligenblut. Arrival and departure by cable car are free of charge for guests. The manger and staff were very friendly , and helpful, though we were the only Arabes in the hotel , they tried to make us very comfortable. And happy . The road was very far from the city , it said the location was 6 k from kaprun, but it was farther than than that, the road at night for driving very scary ,mountain road , no lights on the street, as the weather could Chang in a minute .all in all I liked the family and hotel.

It's one of the best hotels in this location and it's not so much expensive. No Wifi connection! You can connect to Wifi only at recception and speed is only about 5-10 KB/s - for example you have to wait about 1 minute to load main page of weather portal zamg.at.

The hotel locates directly on the road and it is really good but the address says you nothing that is why you can hardly find it from the first attempt. The nature and silence are unreal. It is absolutely different from what you are used to see and hear everywhere. I was so impressed after my permanent living in the big city. It is so pleasant for your ears and nerves as well as for your eyes. There are almost no people around you. Great!!! There is no Wi-Fi in the hotel. There is no sign on the road saying that hotel is somewhere near. The town is 7-8 km away from the hotel that is why almost all the visitors drive to the town trying to find the mentioned in the address house number. You can not imagine that the only house locates far-far away from the houses with near numbers.

The hotel location was ideal and the views were breathtaking. The hotel was very nice and deserves much higher than the 3 stars it is classified as. The room was spacious and it had all modern facilities.

Месторасположение: если кому интересно Гроссклокнерское шоссе - это идеальный вариант для остановки во время путешествия. Вид из отеля - на заснеженные вершины. Завтрак неплохой, в интерьере. В номере плохая вентиляция, несколько затхлый запах.

Freundliche Menschem,besonders die fam. Atmosphäre.Speisen, Getränke, alles prima.Toll, dass man mit der 3 Tagebuchung die Maud einspart u.dem Ticket weitere, versch.andere Bahnen, wie zb.Möllthalbahn kostenlos nutzen kann.Ich bin bescheiden, danke dem Haus, dass man mich gut bewirtete u.kann es nur weiter empfehlen.

Auch dieses Jahr bin ich wieder begeistert von diesem Hotel. Freundliches Personal, guter Service, sehr gutes Abendessen - 3 Gänge Menu für 12 Euro. Schöne großzügige Zimmer, großes Bad mit Dusche. Alles sehr gepflegt und sauber. Ich kann mich nur wiederholen ..... einfach nur gut! Der Gastraum wurde schön umgebaut, das Frühstücksbuffet erweitert und es gibt frischen Filterkaffee. Diesmal war das Hotel sehr gut besucht, aber dennoch sehr ruhig. 2013 - >>> wir kommen wieder!

A személyzet kedves, maga a szálloda szerény, de tiszta. A reggeli finom volt. Ha az ember ott akar enni, meg kell fontolni, hogy a választék nagyon szerény. A környezet és a kilátás a szobából viszont feldtet minden esetleges hiányérzetet.

La spledida posizione, camere e l'ottimo ristorante. La mattina panorama da " brivido". Se non ricordo male doveva esserci il garage per le moto, ma invece non era disponibile.

Eccellente. L'albergo è nel bel mezzo della Großglocknerstraße. Camera enorme, con parquet e pulitissima. Bagno perfettamente in ordine, doccia dal getto poderoso. Cena ottima con ampia scelta alla carta. Eccellente colazione a buffet. Consigliato

Nevyhovovaly mi pouze snídaně. V nabídce chybělo něco teplého. Myslím, že pro pobyt, kde se člověk vydává do hor, by snídaně měla být dřív než od půl osmé.
