We only stayed one night after finishing stage four (Wenns - Vent) of our E5 hike. The room was spacious and the bathroom with shower very good. We especially enjoyed the sauna. Dinner and breakfast were plentiful and the quality was good. The staff is very friendly, service oriented and gave us top tips for our final stage of our E5 hike.

Built in 1934, Gasthof Gstrein is a traditional, family-run hotel in a sunny location at 6.2 feet above sea level, only a few minutes’ walk away from the ski elevator. Berghotel-Gasthof Gstrein features a sauna, a relaxation room with mountain views, a cozy lounge with TV, a sun terrace, a children’s playroom, and a ski storage room. The free ski bus stops right outside Berghotel Gstrein and takes you to Sölden, which is 9.3 mi away from Vent. From mid June until mid October, guests benefit from the Ötztal Premium Guest Card. It offers free use of cable cars and public transports in the area, free entrance to all indoor and outdoor pools and free entrance to the Ötzidorf Museum.
