La nostra estada a l'hotel ha estat excel·lent, pel tracte, per la comoditat de l'habitació per a tres persones, pel servei d'esmorzar, la gratuïtat del pàrquing i molt especialment per la proximitat al centre de la ciutat, un passeig agradable d'uns deu minuts. |

We found the hotel very charming, the staff super friendly and communicative. The decor had old world and modern touches. Breakfast was excellent with a wondeful assorment of breads, meats and cheeses. It was close to the pedestrian zone, and the old downtown core. Grocery stores and restaurants were a short walk away. Our family would return to the Bergland, if we are fortunate to visit Salzberg again. |

Wonderful hotel, great value! The owners (the Kuhn family) are very nice as are the other people working there. I rented a bicycle from them (6 Euro/day) and used it to get around Salzburg. The hotel is not in the touristic center of Salzburg, but then the city itself is fairly small. It's about a 15-minute walk from the central train station and 20-25 minutes walking from the old city. If you come with a car, this is no problem whatsoever. I came by train and rented a bicycle, so no problem either. |

It's was soooooooooo wonderful~! the staffs were very kind and recommended so nice restaurants that have reasonable price & good menu. they helped we exprience beautiful Salzbrug & Austian culture. also hotel was very clean & has romantic breakfast. absolutely we will stay Bergland hotel if we go salzbrug again. thaks a lot Bergland. |

Clean, quaint and hospitable with a nice breakfast included. We stayed in a family room - perfect for 2 children, 2 adults. This hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the old town of Salzburg. It is along a main road that was noisy at night. |

we liked the location close to Salzburg and the family atmoshere. Breakfast was good. We were surprised that for this price there was no tea or coffee making facilities and no bar fridge or aircondtioning.This hotel may be over rated. |

The hotel was quiet, clean, comfortable and the reception staff very helpful. The breakfast selection was good and the hotel was ideal for our stay. There was nowhere to get a drink in the evening. |

Very nice small hotel. There are rooms that are recently added to the hotel and they are more modern designed, but both rooms that we had (one "modern", one "traditional") were excellent - spacious, with perfect beds, clean...Breakfast was excellent as well. Location is very good - short walk (5minutes) to the pedestrian street with shops and restaurants and not more than 15 minutes to the old town on the other side of the river. All in all - very recommended! It would be nice to have coffee/tea maker in the room. |

No hot water or cold water provided. We did not allow to use their kitchen. If we request hot water, they have to charge us for cleaning kitchel vessels. |

Very polite and happy to help reception staff. The room and the bathroom were big enough The first day were not enough free parking places but the second day we got one ( I think that there are totally only 5). They could add aircondition and a small frigo-mini bar in the room. Also, it would be more proper if the cleaning ladies knocked on the door before trying to enter the room. |
