Bergland Hotel

Gunstig gelegen, op loopafstsand van centrum, met eigen parkeerplaatsen. Wel een uitkomst voor Salzburg. Rustige sfeer en aankleding en uitstekend ontbijt. Gemakkelijke auto-verbinding met achterland. (Station ligt wel verder weg, maar goede busverbindingen).

Het personeel was zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk, het ontbijt was prima verzorgd. Het hotel ligt op loopafstand (15-20 minuten) van het oude stadsdeel waar de meeste bezienswaardigheden zijn. Al met al een prima hotel op een prima lokatie.

Vlot bereikbaar,gezellig interieur,ontbijt,parking! Op 10' minuten wandelen van het centrum.

de kamer was keurig en schoon en het ontbijt was goed, uitgebreid en keurig verzorgd. Het personeel was beleefd en vriendelijk.

Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame gastheer en -dame. Alles wat je van een prettig hotel verwacht.

The staff were very helpful. The hotel really is located within walking distance of most tourist sites in Salzburg.

We loved our stay at the Bergland Hotel. The decor was fantastic. It was the perfect choice for our family and the location was near the town and the bus stop. The owners of the hotel were very helpful and friendly. We woud definately stay there again.

The reception staff were excellent. Breakfast was good.

Downstairs the hotel was good but the rooms are a little tired and need upgrading

Our late check in was handled easily and efficiently. The welcome we recieved was warm and informative - a map was given to us on arrival. The breakfast buffet was tasty and there was much choice, although it ended too early (9.30am). I like a lay-in on holiday! I also liked the fact that the water remained hot throughout my shower! It is also very close to the bus stop for the airport, it was lovely not having to carry heavy bags that far.

Two very minor issues. Our room wasn't as pretty as the room in the promotional material. The skirting boards were shabby, and the curtains dated and it detracted from the otherwise lovely room with it's carefully chosen traditional style furniture and paintings. I also didn't like the fact that although we had booked a double room (the double bed was very comfortable) we were supplied with two single duvets, this happened in all the other places we stayed in Austria and Slovenia although too so maybe this is common practice.

The room was really spacious. Beds were comfortable and bed linen nice quality. The bathroom was huge which is great for a family.

With such a large bathroom it would be better to have a separate shower unit. In a family situation there is always more than one person in the bathroom! The toilet was next to the bath and when somebody showered, the water sprayed over the toilet.

Really helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was great. Only 10 mins walk into the town. Hotel clean and lovely big rooms.

The staff was very helpful arranging our scheduled day trips from the area. The breakfast was one of the best of our trip.

This was a great place to stay. The owner and his wife run the hotel and it shows. They are wonderful people and good managers and it made for an excellent stay. I highly recomend this hotel.
