This is a family-run, intimate hotel in the very heart of Vienna, offering access to many tourist attractions and a number of facilities.

In 1773 Mozart and his father lived in a small apartment in the historical part of the hotel building when they were invited to perform in front of The Empress Maria Theresia and her Family in Schönbrunn Palace. A memorial plaque on the outside of the hotel reminds visitors of Mozart’s first time in Vienna.
At the façade left to the hotel’s entrance you can see a memorial plaque.

The hotel offers modern yet comfortable rooms and is quietly situated in the centre of the city, where seminar, music and exhibition centres are easily reached.
The hotel’s friendly service and cosy atmosphere guarantee a pleasant stay.

Junior Suite is an excellent room

The suite is on the 8th floor and the elevators only reach the 7th. you have to climb stairs to get to the room.

The breakfast was very good, very friendly staff

The cooling capacity of the airconditioning was to low, we had to open the window, which gave some noice from outside

We've stayed there several times now, and it keeps up the same high standard of our first visit many years ago. Although not right in the centre of Vienna, it is easily accessible. Rooms are very quiet (even when hotel is full at weekends). Staff very friendly; hotel spotless; breakfasts superb.

Friendly, helpful staff at reception and in breakfast room. Wide-varied breakfast. Comfortable rooms.

The hotel information pack informed us tea/coffee facilities could be brought to our room free of charge 24 hours a day. One night we went to the bar for 2 cups of tea, and were charged 6.80 euro! The next night we took the tea to our room, and it was free of charge. Moral of the story... Don't drink tea/coffee in the bar area! Besides that... Hotel was perfect!

Comfort double room was spacious and good. Breakfast was good.

Housekeeping was not available 24hs. When I asked bed making late in the afternoon, it was unavailable, and I get linen and had to change myself.

the hotel didn't have a restaurant so we could order take aways which is very good, reception could do that for you :-)

the room decor was abit old but apart from that room size was great having 2 young kids we were very comfortable.

friendly staff, helpful that English was spoken, nice selection at buffet breakfast, "Leave a book, take a book" trading library is a nice idea.

My room was located near a stone stairwell and it was a bit nosy in the morning when people were checking out.

The hotel was very conveniently situated to the centre of Vienna and the staff were extremely efficient and helpful. The breakfast was lovely and the rooms clean and bright and larger than expected for a central location.
