L'hotel Schlosshotel Römischer Kaiser és un dels hotels més tradicionals de Viena. L'establiment està ubicat al centre de la ciutat, en un carrer tranquil a la vora de Kärntner Straße. Aquest palau barroc, petit i encantador, fou construït l'any 1684 i és de propietat familiar des del 1904. L'hotel es troba a pocs minuts a peu de l'òpera nacional, el palau imperial de Hofburg i la catedral de Sant Esteve. Als voltants d'aquesta joia de l'arquitectura barroca hi ha nombrosos restaurants, bars i cafeteries i el Ringstraßengalerien, un centre comercial ubicat al centre de la ciutat. El Best Western Premier Schlosshotel Römischer Kaiser combina a la perfecció ambient elegant i comoditats modernes. Totes les habitacions i suites estan decorades de forma individual i amb mobles de luxe. Els banys estan dissenyats a l'estil Gianni Versace original. L'estació de metro de Karlsplatz (línies U4, U1, U2) és 5 minuts a peu de l'hotel i l'estació de metro de Stephansplatz (línies U1, U3) es troba a 7 minuts a peu. The breakfast was great! Well worth it. The location was awesome, not next door to the ubahn, but close enough. We were able to walk to almost everything! Great location, cute "european" hotel. We would stay there again! Quiet too! Staff was helpful, but not out of your way helpful. Sometimes got the feeling they didn't like Americans.

A gem of a hotel in an excellent location. The staff wer helpful before and during our trip, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast goog. We will definitely go back! Excellent value. No complaints about the hotel, but our Saturday evening in Vienna was completely ruined by an awful experience in the nearest restaurant to the hotel, the Weinbotschaft. Truly horrific treatment by the owner, who had clearly double-booked our table. We were initially given an hour to get out, then (when we considered leaving) 2 hours, Then, we were asked to move tables half way through the mediocre and extortionately priced main course. Looks enticing, but walk a little further up the road to avoid this nightmare in an otherwise friendly city with lovely food!

The staff is top-notch! They are very friendly and helpful and did their best to please me as a guest. The location was great --- on a quiet street off a main shopping pedestrian zone and within easy walking distance of St. Stephan church, the city opera and the Albertina. There were plenty of cafes and restaurants at hand. The breakfast was superb as far as I was concerned: cold cereals, six kinds of juice, eggs, bacon, cold cuts, cheeses, joghurt and sweets. My double room was comfy with a spacious and beautiful bathroom. This is an excellent hotel with a wonderful staff. I can't find fault with anything about it.

Excellent small hotel, big on quality. Ideal as a bed & breakfast type base for exploring the sights of Vienna. Great location within The Ring. Several top attractions, main shopping street, & u Bahn stations within 10 minutes walk. Good sized rooms with air conditioning & double glazing. All very clean & well maintained. Staff were courteous, efficient, & friendly. Very good breakfast. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The room was freshly painted. Clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom was larger than most European hotels. It was on a side street with no traffic, but was 5 minutes from St. Stevens Cathederal as well as the Hoffberg, the Opera House and plentiful shopping and great restaurants. The concerts in City Park were a very short and safe walk. I will definately come back again

Execellent and very central location - close to shopping, museums, opera etc but still quiet surroundings. Very well functioning free wifi in all rooms. Good breakfast.

The breakfast! The location! A nice atmosphere of the "Vienna 1900" like style! The room was a bit small! I didn't like the fact that they pre-authorised my credit card with a sum that was larger than the one i actually had to pay for their services!

Very pleasant staff, always attentive to our needs. Location is an absolute best to be in city center but on a quiet street. Breakfast included made our stay very relaxing for a holiday trip. Old fashioned beds and furniture is quaint but not very comfortable. Sooner or later these will need to be upgraded.

The hotel was convenient for walking to most of the major sites. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable and the buffet breakfast was well presented , highly varied and plentiful. Would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and will return ourselves on our next trip to Vienna.

I liked the historic design of the hotel. It was very beautiful and unique - don't change it! There are so few places that offer old-style furnishings and decor. I specifically sought out a hotel that had these features, as I wanted to make my stay in Vienna as authentic as possible. Staying at your hotel made me feel like I was in a Viennese palace from the past, and helped to enhance all of the historic sites I visited while in the city. Yet it had all the modern conveniences. Also, the morning breakfast was delicious, and the hotel was certainly convenient to so many of Vienna's best attractions, shopping and restaurants. Don't change a thing! About the only thing I can think of to critique was that the grapes in the fruit salad had seeds in them, which made them difficult to eat without biting into seeds. Maybe replace them with seedless grapes. That's it! That's all I can find that could be improved!

My husband and I loved staying in this historic hotel. It was so beautiful down this tiny cobblestone street. It's exactly what we were looking for! We wanted to be a part of the history in Vienna while we learned their history and this hotel was perfect for it! It was so romantic and clean and authentic. The staff there were amazing! When we arrived they had an envelope of brochures for the sites they recommend and maps and it was very helpful! They recommend us to great restaurants and helped us make reservations. The location was amazing! Right in the middle of everything and yet on a quiet street so was easy to sleep at night. We will definitely stay at this hotel again when we go back to Vienna! nothing! Everything was great!

A well maintained hotel with courteous staff that catered to our every need, the location is central to the main shopping area and the U-Bhann is but a 5 min walk away allowing plenty of scope for travelling further afield.

An excellent hotel, very pleasant and helpful staff. Very good buffet breakfast. Rooms very elegant and comfortable. Location is ideal for a visit to Vienna. Very central and still very peaceful being on a pedestrian street, yet very close to the main tourist areas. No complaints whatsoever
