Everything, this was an excellant with the staff some of the best I have come across on my travels, the location is right in the centre could not be better |

Restaurant very good, fair price, good service and central. . Car parking not local. Hotel was inaccessible by car and extremely difficult to find. This would apply to most hotels in centre of Salzburg. Very small bathroom and electrical problem which resulted in having to swap rooms in order to sleep in middle of night. |

Perfect hotel in a perfect setting! Staff was above and beyond helpful and knowledgable. Location in Salzburg could not have been better. Breakfast was excellent and the hotel restaraunts were outstanding, if pricy. Would definetly stay here again and would recomend it without any reservations. Absolutley nothing! |

Nice and Central to Salzburg old town - great position - I would describe it as a very elegant building going to seed! TV room and Internet access not available - Room not cleaned properly from previous occupants. Window looked out onto a small roof section which had empty cigarette packets and old tissues not removed. Lack of tea/coffee making facilities. |

conveniently located in the old part of Salzburg. Friendly, helpful front desk staff.Good value for accommodation and breakfast. The restaurant food is marginal compared to other near-by restaurants - in qualityand price. |

The staff is very kind, the location of the hotel is very convenient.The restaurant of the hotel is excellent. The bathroom was not very clean and the room was too dark. |

The hotel's location is not only excellent, the quality of the (large) room made our stay a memorable one. Friendly receptionist, too. But... ...buffet breakfast next morning was a complete chaos: only one waitress for 60 guests. Hence the non-stop dirty tables, empty buffet and complaining guests. Hotel management: make this work and you have a fine hotel! |

The Hotel Elefant is in the heart of Salzburg's old city center. The best shopping, tourist attractions, and beautiful sights are all around the hotel. It's owned by Best Western. Don't get me wrong, the hotel was very nice, but the decor has been very modernzied. I think if the hotel had remained in the hands of native Austrians and maintained a more Austrian decor theme it would have been better. |

Location is perfect for tourist and shopping purpuses. It`s difficult to be reached with a car becaused it`s situated on a pedestrian zone. The parking is complicated to be found but the receptionist explaind us very politely and carefully how to find it. |

The hotel was only two minutes walk from the Christmas Market, and centrally placed for all the attractions. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was always of a high standard with plenty of choice. The only problems caused for us was the poor exchange rate!!! |

It's the second time we stay at the elefant and i don't see any reason to look for another hotel in Salzburg anytime soon.Excellent location,big beautiful rooms,very good restaurant and the nicest front desk staff i've ever met (IRIS rules!!!) food at breakfast is excellent,but there are times when the trays are completely empty and you have to wait a bit until they come back with more.They should take care of this situation. |
