The location was convenient. The tavern was lovely, great food and beer. Superb menu, great service. Free internet in reception.

No tea and coffee facilities, which was a let down. Expected a double bed but had twins. Not very romantic. Cobbled alleyway to reception means you are woken by guests dragging their cases along cobbles below your room. No iron in the room. Extortionate price for bottle of mineral water, normally courtesy free in other hotels.

The silence of the room

The service in genral is not good, Room service was not concerned with details, like replacing finished shampoos, Laundrybags, etc In the restaurant it took ages to be served. There is no Room service afeter 10PM

Telephone in room did not work and information about Vienna was not always accurate

The hotel is near to the CAT which is central. About 30 minutes walk to Belvedere and Stephansdom.

The staff was not friendly. The left-side of bed makes squeeky noise. This is the most expensive hotel that I stayed on my 3 week trip in Austria and not up to my standard.

Nice building. Quiet. Very good breakfast, but not included in the price.

Coffee maker and tea bags in the room. Room needed painting and new carpet.

Excellent breakfast. Helpful receptionists.

No view from window - disappointing. Although areas were set aside for smokers, we are surprised that smoking is tolerated at all in public places. Very unpleasant if you are a non-smoker.

The location was pretty accessible to everything with the underground just a few minutes down the road. We didn't feel that the receptionist was particularly friendly and it appeared that everything we asked for seemed to put him out.

We thought the room/hotel was quite comfortable and clean but it was very outdated and not particularly value for money. I wouldn't rate it as a four star hotel but then again it seems like the standard in Austria is overall lower than it would be in Ireland and the UK.
