Score from 1086 reviews Good
Just a 5-minute walk from Innsbruck’s historic quarter and the Golden Roof, the Hotel Engl is in the quiet district of St. Nikolaus. The rooms all have a bathroom with a hairdryer.
Score from 572 reviews Very good
Room was adequately sized
Dreadful decoration, glass toilet door not a good idea, bad ventilation in the toilet, door didn't close properly, glass bathroom not good idea with young children, corridors scruffy.
The staff were very helpful and friendly which was good as I was staying there on my own.
Nothing really. I was glad I stayed there.
The location and the staff.
Room Nr. 112 is much to small, the wall too thin, so it is noisy, when people going to their rooms. No extra mirror in the bathroom, no free wifi in the rooms (even during my last visit it was free, so they changed again.) In total i'm sorry, but the hotel is not worth 4 stars.
- no wifi - breakfats was additional 15€/person comparing with the 62€/night for a double - stuff not very friendly
Very comfortable and clean. Good location
Breakfast was way too expensive at 15 Euro for what European hotels usually provide either for free or much less money. No free Wifi in the room was disappointing.
location is ok
walls very thin. very bad sleeping experience. everything is paid and not included.
24h Reception, no problem with parking around during the night
no free wifi
Friendly staff. clean room. good location.
The room is too small as a 4 stars hotel. Wifi is free only in the lobby and costs 5 euro per day in room.
Free shuttle service to the ski alps
Unreliable and slow wifi that had to pay for
Was charged €7.50 for a Rum and Cola, whilst the rum on its own was €3.20. When we questioned the price the woman behind the bar was very short with us and quite rude.
the staff were helpful and panoramic mountain view in the room
the room is so small..
Stay was great no probs getting any were hotel about 5 min walk to the center
15 euros for breakfast was abit steep for what u got lots there just not really for me had mostly toast and fruit but that was ok
There was no heating in the room (208), unless you count a miniature heater. Radiators were cold and the outdoor temperature was around 0 celsius. Late check-out costs 20 €. Charging wi-fi connection in the room totally unacceptable.
The rooms were too small
The best thing about this hotel was the friendly young team working there as they were very nice. Location is good, easy to find, not far from the highway exit and is close to the city center by car 5minutes or walking about 20minutes. No noise during the night. The room was warm and very nice, top floor with elevator.
The breakfast and staff during morning
Everything was a problem, not a friendly personell, especially owners. Not pro client orientation. Impolite owners. Small rooms, no restaurant after breakfast. Baby bed charged. No free parking. Very small rooms and beds. They spoiled our christmas holidays. 3 rooms were booked by me. They behaved as if i was at their house for free. Its hardly a poor three star.
the Hotel is on teh edge of the City Centre, 20 mins into the old town by foot.it was a handy location, good quality Hotel and a competetive price for the time of year. the staff were excellent and this is very much a family run Hotel. We had a great stay booking two rooms, one an execiutive and the other a smaller business room. There are restaurants nearby, coffee shops, supermarkets and plenty of sports facilities. We did enjoy the larger olympic pool facility with hot tubs and slides.A great City worth a visit, we would stay at the Binders again and recommend it to friends.
The rooms were a little small which we knew when we bookde. They are however in excellent condition with very good bathrooms and a balcony, more enjoyable in the summer i suspcet.
Hotel is located in a living area. The room was nice and clean.
The check-in time is after 3 am, very late from my point of view. The internet connection is not reliable at all: do not expect skype calls working. Also, in our (economy class) room the bed was particularly short. It could be enough for 1 person but definitely not for a couple.
The room is very modern!!The shower is very strong too. The staffs know good place to eat in town center!! Overall very excellent room!
The wifi signal is not good in room.
the hotel was OK in terms of everything except service.
The service was absolutely unfriendly.
No wifi Glassdoor to the toilet Shover small and wets the floor
The staff was very kind and very helpfull The position is quite good bith for train and car. Specially very simple toreach qith the car.
The room is extremly small and the desk was occuped by a large TV. No enought of plug for computer, phone ecc I had to work all night long and I had no space to work. So I had to go to the hall untill the closing of it and afterm in my room, move the tv to have some space. Wifi is vey bad: Constantly crashing. I had to wait untill 5 in the morning to send an important document, trying to connecting for 3 hours. Absolutley is not a 4 star. Maybe 3. Breakfast is expensive. If I would be for holyday it will be ok but for work travel I would not raccomand
Breakfast including the coffee is very good, the rooms are nicely warm and the housekeeping is excellent.
Pollution from the smoking room at breakfast. Also at breakfast, I personally would prefer better quality tea rather than the huge choice).
Good staff Nice atmosphere
it is a shame that hotels do not understand that the main reason to come is spending the night. The bed theregire is the most important item. This hotel let you sleep on a wooden plate with on top of that a cheap foam plate. It should be forbidden to call that a bed. I hat the most terrible night ever!!!!!
The Comfortable Room, The Bed Breakfast was very good and plentiful
The Shower could have been more powerful. The receptionist although not rude could do with a course in how to greet customers
