We were impressed of the calm atmosphere, hospitality of the owners and the comfort in this cozy family run hotel. It was a great pleasure for us to spend few days in this marvelous place, located very close to Salzburg tourist centre. We enjoyed how practical is the design of each item in the house and we felt there like in home. We are dreaming to have chance to be guest of Bloberger Hof again.

Thanks to Sylvia- an excellent hostess. We booked Bloberger Hof as it was most highly rated on Booking.com for Salzburg region and we were not disappointed. Excellent bus links into Salzburg(21) or round to the Untersberg mountain (21-35)which we had a lovely view of from our balcony. Spacious room with very comfortable facilities and fabulous breakfast. Any extras, kettle,umbrella,stamps for example were readily available. If we come back to Salzburg we would come back here.

The service was excellent and rooms were spacious. Real value for money and it is hardly 15 mins drive by car to the city center. On keeping the windows open in the morning by the house keeping staff, some flies and bugs do tend to come inside and remain inside in the evening.

The rooms were very spacious.The dinner was very good.The lanscape all around very beutiful. During breakfast we have asked for an extra paper serviette and the owner reacted rather impolitely by saying we were not allowed to take away anything from the breakfast buffet which by no means was in our intention

This is a fantastic hotel. The family that runs the hotel goes out of their way to make you confortable. Best value of all hotels we have stayed in as we travel through central erope. The breakfast is fantastic

Great location on the edge of Salzburg close to a bus stop. Beautiful mountain view right out our window. A lovely and very clean place to stay with very friendly people. A good breakfast and they also have a nice dinner menu.

It's a nice family run hotel with a good value dining room. The negatives of this hotel are that it's rather far from the historic city of Salzburg (& the traffic congestion is real issue as you approach the city core), the lack of a lift (we were on the third floor) and we did find the breakfast buffet to be rather skimpy.

The view from the room was amazing. Friendly staff, comfy bed, easy to get to on the bus even though it is a little way out of the City. Ate for one night, nice food. Free breakfast. Quirky decorations in the hotel. The cat. Highly recommended. They gave us two single sheets which made it more difficult to make a move. No smoking in the rooms. The smoking room was closed when I tried to use it. The dog attacked me and my friend, nothing serious just nibbled her guidebook.

Alpine chalet at the foot of the Untersberg mountain on the outskirts of Salzburg. Comfortable family run hotel, decent breakfast, stunning views and quiet location with a choice of restaurants offering straightforward home cooking nearby. Room sizes vary and the single room although small does provide a double bed. Prices are a little high for a 2* quality hotel and the hotel restaurant was closed on a recent visit.

I loved the location, the size of our room (spacious), the beautiful four-poster bed, the rustic decor, Inge, the proprietor, fantastic breakfast. The house had a wonderful ambience. A magnificent view of the mountains from our balcony. I would happily recommend this magical place to anyone. There is plenty of parking. There is also a bus stop just around the corner. Buses run every 20 mins. The trip into Salzburg takes about 15-20 mins.

We had a wonderful stay at the Blobergerhof. It was clean, the innkeepers were friendly, the price was very reasonable, and the food was great! A great value just a short bus ride from the Salzburg city center. We highly recommend it and hope to go back in the future.

Very friendly hosts,cater for your every need,the hotel is very clean and the rooms were nicely presented,excellent buffet breakfast,nice variety of choices and evening meals. The hotel is a 2 minute walk to the bus stop, hop on the 21 bus which takes you to the city centre. It cost us 2 euros 10 to town single. Take advantage and grab a Salzburg card you can hop on and off the buses to suit that also gives you one time free admission to many attractions including the cable car upto Untersberg mountain. We had a lovely stay here and would recommend and will return for another stay.

Extremely nice and helpful owners and staff. Very clean and comfortable hotel. Exceptionally convenient for parking the car (free and off street) and taking the bus (a three minute walk away and running every half hour) into Salzburg to see historical sites. Bus ride was approximately 20 minutes each way. Hotel value was much better than staying in Salzburg and we could simply leave the car at the hotel, take the bus, and have stress free day in Salzburg before returning on late afternoon bus. Even left car there after checking out for partial day in Salzburg before driving on to next destination. No complaints whatsoever. Great place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone for making Salzburg visit stress free and enjoyable. Also excellent value. Good breakfast and good evening meals. Exceptionally clean.

Bloberger Hof gives you the feel of the country as it is on the outskirts of the city and has beautiful views of the mountains, but it also has easy access to the old town area of Salzburg. Our room was large and attractive with a quaint canopy bed (the one in their brochure), a great balcony view, and a huge closet. The restaurant was excellent both for breakfast and for dinner. Service was superb, friendly, and very helpful. All in all, this was our favorite accommodation in our two weeks in Bavaria.

The facilities and staff are wonderful. From the time you enter the door you are made to feel welcome. Our room had everything we could ask for and our stay was perfect. Breakfast is a treat with many selections as well as cooked to order eggs. And dinner in their restaurant is a perfect way to end your day. Could not ask for more.
