Hotel Boltzmann  

Staff was very helpful. Location is very good, 10 minute walt to metro, 15 minute walk to Karls Platz and Stephan Platz. Coffee server during breakfast was very good too.

Breakfast is good, but you have to wake up pretty early since after 9am there is almost nothing left. The first morning we arrived at 9.20 and we only had bread and butter left, no eggs, no bacon, nothing left. The second morning we arrived at 8am and there was everything. The management should reconsider refilling since the breakfast is up to 10am and it cost 15 eur per person and the guest should not have to wake up at 7am to be able to catch breakfast.

Location is quiet, but still close to transport. U2 to SchottenTor, and then 2 stops using any of the trams leaving from underground tram plaform. (37 etc). University is close, so nice cafe's and bars with good prices. Easy access to Tram 1, which combined with Tram 2 allow you to "tour" the whole inner city. Good breakfast and free wifi were appreciated.

As a few others have said before, Not 4 Star. The most uncomfortable beds we have ever slept on. Hard and could feel metal springs. "Double" means two singles pushed together. No Iron in room, and no housekeeping services on the weekend after 2pm. Beware if you plan on going out to concert or show, and your clothes have been in a bag all morning. The Hotel cannot and will do nothing to help. Austrian "rules" were quoted as the reason for lack of service, but the next hotel we stayed at had no issues with Iron on request?

Place (location for my business trip) and excellent breakfast

I would expect bigger room for a 4 stars hotel, but at the end it was fine due to nice look-out from the balcony in room on the 6th floor over the Vienna roofs :)

Lounge and hall leading to the rooms smelled of cigarette smoke.

Proximity to family and friends and ease of access to public transportaion

The loud noises very early every morning of trash being dumped and wheeled across cobblestone surface.

Good placement, 5 min to Schottentor. Anything else.

This is a very noisy hotel. If you are going to stay in the bed later than 8am, be sure you won't sleep. Noises from housekeeping, showers, snores (¡¡¡¡¡¡).... Sorry but I don't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Wireless internet is not available in 207 room, I do not know the reason. And why the kettle for boiling water for tea is forbidden to use in your hotel ,this is surprised to me.

The location! It is very near to the city hall, and it means also "Christmas market". And WiFi was confortable.

Good location, not too far from the city center in a quiet neighbourhood. Good balance quality/price.

Only one slow elevator for all hotel guests. Staff was not always available when needed.
