Boutique Hotel StadthalleHackengasse 20, 15. Rudolfsheim-Fünfh., 1150 Vienna (Show map) Excellent, Score from 409 reviews“Comfortable and well-designed. Excellent breakfast with organic produce. We liked the eco-friendly approach including roof garden, free fruit and discount for arrival on public transport. This is an excellent hotel. ”

This family-run, eco-friendly hotel with a beautiful garden and individually designed rooms is close to the Western Train Station, the city center and Vienna’s main shopping boulevard Mariahilferstraße. After a restful night in the tastefully styled and fully-equipped rooms (superior rooms even feature a tea and coffee maker) you can enjoy your breakfast in the enchanting garden during the warmer months. In our eco-friendly Boutique Hotel Stadthalle the water is heated by solar panels and rainwater collected from the roof is used to water the garden and toilet flushing in the garden annex. Moreover all roofs are used as a green space. The Westbahnhof subway station and tram stop Wiener Stadthalle are nearby and provide easy access to the center of the city and to the picturesque Spittelberg area. From another nearby tram stop, Schönbrunn Castle is also only a few minutes away. There is a bike path leading straight to the center of Vienna from the Boutique Hotel Stadthalle. A bike garage is available as well. A safe and wireless internet connection are available in all rooms free of charge. Hotel Rooms: 81

We stayed with two small children and had a comfortable stay although the hotel is not children-oriented. I liked the "ecofriendlyness" and all the details related to that like organic milk for breakfast, green roofs etc. I loved the terrasse and possibility to have breakfast on a relaxed terrace in spite of the fact that the hotel is in the city. Hotel is well decorated and clean, the staff is friendly although a bit reserved. It is not a luxurious stay but it is certianly a very good value for money. It is important to mention that the hotel is not located directly in the city center. However being close to the train station it is very well connected both to the center and sights (for instance Schonbrun palace) by metro or tram lines. It could be more children friendly which would be easily done just by providing of a few toys or children books in the lobby/restaurant/terrace.

Top floor with a large balcony. It's worth it. This hotel is so quiet at night it was fabulous to come home and relax each night from the very busy streets of Vienna. Breakfast was a very busy place. Fabulous but very busy.

An excellent hotel for exploring Vienna! The rooms were clean and cosy and the beds were really comfortable. Excellent and friendly staff! The breakfast buffet offers a great range of delicious dishes! The location of the hotel is good for exploring the city: it's near the Westbahnhof railway station and the underground. There is also a good grocery store just opposite the hotel. I definitely recommend this hotel!

Everything in this hotel was great: friendly staff, very pleasant and spotless room, delicious breakfast with organic food, being environmentally sustainable while offering an outstanding service for a very reasonable price, and on top of that I have been upgraded when I arrived ! What is more to want ? The location ? Not in the city centre but in a quiet street, and the centre is easily accessible with public transport or by foot for people who don't mind a bit of walking to explore the city.

I liked the fact that it was eco-friendly and that it was conveniently located to the train station. It was easy to get to the center of things by the U-bahn. The room was quiet and comfortable, and the breakfasts were great! I didn't like the fact that the wi-fi didn't work in my room. We were able to get it to work with a new code but only temporarily and the connection was not good at all. I also didn't like the fact that I was given the choice to pay the bill in euro or dollars but that that clerk did not tell me that a 3% fee would also be included when I paid in dollars. I read the small print on the receipt afterwards and asked the clerk about it but she kept saying that it was already included, which was NOT my point. My point was that I didn't want to pay an additional 3% and would have preferred to pay in euro. My credit card does not charge any international transaction fees and if I had paid in euro, I would have paid 3% less.

We arrived early in the morning on an overnight train. The proximity of the hotel to the train station was very convenient at that time of the morning. From there, it was an easy walk into the city centre. The staff were wonderful and looked after us. The hotel was smart in appearance and boasts impressive sustainabilty credentials. The room was a good size, and felt clean and modern.

Marvellous hotel, for both business and leisure. Located close to main travel nexus for Vienna (airport bus, trains, trams, and underground), 5 mins by underground to city centre, and 15 minutes to Vienna International centre. Very peaceful though, with no road noise as its on a suburban street. Price for a double room in Vienna was excellent. Décor fresh and tasteful, room was gorgeous and warm, and the breakfast's range and quality was incredible! Very eco-friendly, with international awards. Staff could not have been more helpful, both before our visit and whilst we were there. As a Brit, I was embarrassed about the hotel staff's quality of spoken and written English. Will not hesitate to recommend to colleagues/friends, and intend to return again. Both the hotel and Vienna have become real memories for us.

Nice hotel located on quiet street 10 minutes walk from main train station Westbanhof. Very convenient tram and underground transport to city center (45 minutes walking for those who want to exercise). Historic buildings, nice eating places and shopping around city center. Hotel staff were very helpful and the breakfast is great! None whatsoever.

Nothing special, except for good location and reasonable price. The bath room in new wing is kind of weird, because it's considered as one room separated by curtain only.

Efficient, accommodating, polite staff. Excellent location and value for money. Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but I would prefer a conventional bathroom instead of the titchy designer cubes. They're ok if you're travelling alone, but just not adequate for two. No privacy at all and too small.

- Great location. Walking distance from main train station Westbahnhof and near to the subway U-Bahn u3. - Friendly and accomplished staff. - Big, clean and comfortable room. - Good breakfast. - Also hotel smells great due to the flowers everywhere. Especially lavender. - Free Wi-Fi everywhere, also computers in the lobby in case you didn't bring your own. - In front of the hotel there is a supermarket, Billa which can be useful sometimes. - Some of the furniture and elevator is a bit old. - Hard to setup wi-fi from room. - Not very nice neighborhood.
