Originally dating from 1199, this historic castle is located in Bernstein in Central Burgenland. Each room is decorated with original furnishings and has a tiled stove. The spacious rooms at Burg Bernstein feature wooden floors, a seating area, and a private bathroom. Traditional Austrian cuisine and Burgenland specialities are served in the Renaissance-style Great Hall dating from 1580, which is entirely illuminated by candlelight. Gorgeous location. Beautiful castle. Very romantic. Staff is very nice and the dining was great. A bit rustic, sometimes a bit drafty, but that's what you get for a 600 yr old castle

Sehr authentische alte Burg mit viel historischem Charme. Ganz individuelle, mit Antiquitäten eingerichtete Zimmer. Grandioser Speisesaal. Sehr nette Gastgeber. Preis ist etwas zu hoch. Das Abendessen könnte (in Anbetracht des Preises) besser sein.
