Located on the Austrian panorama side of the Salzach, the 4-star Hotel Burgblick offers a unique view of the historic quarter of Burghausen in Bavaria and the longest castle in Europe. All rooms are equipped with modern facilities, and most offer a beautiful view of the castle and the historic quarter. A rich breakfast buffet is served in the morning. Hotel Burgblick is located right on the Salzach River, in the Upper Austrian town of Hochburg-Ach. Free public parking is available about less than half a mile away. Access by car is possible for unloading and loading baggage. Hotel Burgblick offers bikes and bike maps for free. The staff is always very friendly. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is very good. I visit at least one time per year and always try to book at the Burgblick!

s.o. Vor allem die Lage In einem 4-Sterne Hotel sollten das Frühstücksgebäck nicht ausgehen (!), und auch sonst das Buffet auch gegen Ende der Frühstückszeit noch gut bestückt sein

Gefalllen hat uns der Blick natürlich, Nicht gefallen hat uns dass der Frühstücksraum nicht geheizt war - bei ca. 5 Grad außerhalb!

Unser Zimmer hatte über die geamte Breite eine Fensterfront mit Blick auf die Burg von Burghausen (liegt genau gegenüber) und auf die direkt vor dem Hotell vorbeifliesende Salzach. Fantastisch! Täglich gab es auf dem Zimmer zwei Flaschen MIneralwasser gratis. Nette Geste! Hat uns gefallen. Die Parkmöglichkeiten sind nicht eben üppig! Wir hatten Glück. Die benachbarte Wirtschaft hatte geschlossen, so dass wir deren Parkplätze direkt am Hotel benutzen konnten. Dort stehen sonst nur 4 Stück zur Verfügung, die zum Hotel gehören. Zusätzlich gibt es wohl in etwa 100 Meter Entfernung noch einige Parkplätze, die auch zum Hotel gehören. Ob das allerdings dann auch genug sind, konnten wir nicht mit letzter Sicherheit feststellen. **** Unser Zimmer war zwar sehr schön, aber der Teppichboden war absolut reif für eine Grundsanierung (Austausch!). Barfuss möchte ich nicht darauf laufen müssen.

traumhafter Ausblick über die Salzach hinweg auf die Burg - speziell unter Abendbeleuchtung Balkone haben keinen Sichtschutz zum Zimmernachbarn - dieser kann einem - wenn nicht abgedunkelt ist - sozusagen beim Schlafen zusehen

Freundliche und engagierter Service, perfektes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis -> wir werden nächstes Jahr zum Burgfest sicher wieder dieses Hotel buchen!!

Sehr schön war der Blick zu der längsten Burg Europas. In ein paar Gehminuten war man schon in der sehr schönen Altstadt von Burghausen. Es wäre schön, wenn sich in dem Zimmer ein Radio befinden würde.

Openheid, vriendelijkheid, goede en snelle bediening, uitstekende ligging vlakbij historische Altstad en langste burcht ter wereld. Kortom "Waar voor je geld" Een absolute aanrader - je gaat tevreden zijn !! Geen enkele klacht !!

Ci è piaciuta l`accoglienza calorosa e la magnifica vista sull`intera panoramica, sia del fiume Salzach che della città di Burghausen e come "corona del quadro" del castello-fortezza Burghausen. Per una permanenza più lunga forse non sarebbe male se l`Hotel disponesse di un`area Wellness ( piccola piscina e attrezzi bodytraining)

La posizione molto suggestiva e la vista della camera verso il castello. Non esiste un ristorante ed un servizio bar, qs non è accettabile in un hotel a 4 stelle.
