For more than 85 years - since 1919 - and 3 generations the members of the Pfeifer family have been attending to the needs and wishes of the Kirchenwirt's guests.
The oldest document mentioning the Kirchenwirt dates back to the year 1695.
If weather permits, you can enjoy the culinary specialities under the shaded chestnut trees at the garden terrace, which offers a breathtaking view over the city.
An extensive wine list offers a choice of some 3,500 bottles from the cellar. With wines from Styria and all major international wine countries, it is a rich source for admirers of outstanding wines at affordable rates.
Since 1997 the restaurant has held the Award of Excellence by the "Wine Spectator".
It is open daily except Sunday evenings from 11:30 to 22:00.
The rooms are specifically equipped to meet the needs of business travellers. Each room offers free internet access and is equipped with an extra large desk.

The hotel is located out side the city and very close to park like wooded area. Each morning I went for a walk on a path reserved for joggers. Half an hour one way. I was great. |

Hotel staff were most helpful and welcoming; the cuisine in the restaurant is excellent! If you intend to travel there by public transport, and have a significant amount of luggage, you may want to arrange for a taxi to get you to the hotel. The climb up the steep hill is not for the faint hearted (I was a lot fitter by the end of my stay!) |

Η εξυπηρέτηση σε ότι τους ρωτήσαμε σχετικά με μετακινήσεις και το καλό πρωινό σχετικά μ'αυτό που περιμέναμε. Ίσως ένα καλύτερο και πιο ευχάριστο living room με κάποια τηλεόραση και λίγο μουσική. |

Gut! Ich wundere mich nur immer wieder, dass 4-Stern-Häuser offenbar durchgehend die Investition von EUR 19,90 für einen vernünftigen Fön scheuen! |

Openbaar vervoer onder aan de berg binnen 10 minuten met bus of tram midden in de stad Graz.Je moet wel een goede conditie hebben. Bij terugkomst is moet je steile berg op lopen. |

Bijzonder mooi gelegen hotel. Klein dorpje op 6km afstand vab Graz. Voor een bezoek aan Graz wel de auto nodig. Goed restaurant in het hotel en bijzonder ruime kamers. In het hotel is geen lift, maar dat zou het gebouw, dat al enige eeuwen oud is, alleen maar schade doen, dus even sjouwen met de koffers! |

L'hotel è elegante e pulito. La camera, impeccabile, dispone di connessione eth gratuita (partatevi il cavo). La cena, squisita, è servita fuori in terrazza sotto imponenti alberi. Il personale è particolarmente professionale e cortese. Non per essere troppo puntiglioso manca però l'ascensore. |

Sanitäreinrichtungen entsprechen nicht einem 4 Sterne Hotel.Zimmer gehören dringend wieder renoviert. Preis- Leistungsverhältnis entspricht überhaupt nicht.Frühstücksbüffet und der Service lässt zu Wünschen übrig.Sauberkeit bei der Tischwäsche und am Büffet leider auch nicht zufriedenstellend. |

Wunderschöne ruhige Lage in Mariatrost, gute Anbindung mit der Straßenbahn in die Stadt, sehr freundliche Rezeption, geschmackvolleingerichtete sehr geräumige Zimmer. Habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Sehr gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Man ist in Graz und dennoch auf dem Land. |

Dieses Hotel kenne ich schon seit Jahren und habe es deswegen wieder gewählt und auch Kollegen empfohlen. Im Gegensatz zu den äußerst lärmigen Hotels in der Innenstadt, hat man hier seine Ruhe. Ein weiteres Plus ist das Restaurant mit fairen Preisen und einer sehr guten Qualität. |

Acomodaçoes bastante confortaveis, limpas, com um excelente banheiro. Aquecimento perfeito. Melhorarem o acesso dos hospedes que tenham malas pesadas, já que subir todos os lances de escadas pode ser penoso. |
