Our Art Nouveau hotel is conveniently located in a quiet side street in the centre of town - an ideal starting point for a stroll to most of the famous sites of Vienna.

The State Opera, St. Stephen’s Cathedral, the Spanish Riding School and the Naschmarkt are easily reachable, as are the Kärntnerstrasse and the Mariahilferstrasse shopping streets. Many artists choose to stay in our hotel because of our close proximity to cultural sites (Museum Quarter, Secession). Throughout your stay you will certainly enjoy the special Austrian flair in our elegant Art Nouveau building.

Every morning a rich and healthy breakfast buffet will give a pleasant start to your day. The breakfast buffet is served from 07:00 to 10:00.

Area information

The Carlton Opera Hotel is located only a few steps from Vienna's city centre, between the Karlsplatz and the popular Naschmarkt market area (vegetables, fruit and delicatessen market, on Saturdays also a flea market).

Vienna's elegant shopping streets, the Kärntnerstrasse and the Mariahilferstrasse, are within easy reach of the hotel.

Spacious apartment, suitable area, helpfulness of staff.

Minor faults in rooms, e.g. broken blinds, awkward curtains. Breakfast satisfactory but a limited range of options, i.e. only hot food was boiled eggs.

Nice area, fair prices.Have to mention that I've stayed in Carlton Apartments, so my opinion may be quite specific

It would be not bad to have some half-fat or skimmed milk fo the breakfast - as I noticed, not only me, but many others as well were looking for it...

The staff availability, the preoccupation to offer the accommodation conditions I liked, ...even if the 2 persons apartment I had was just I needed, the fact I appreciate most is the team of the reception desk. They prove not only professionalism, but a natural politeness and availability. A respect for each client is observable.

A very small inconvenience: the level of the music in the morning coming from the neighbour building.
