Spacious rooms, clean, good WIFI connection, friendly staff and good food. A reviewer mentioned that it is a tour bus hotel which is true but it was not intrusive.Typically tour buses leave early and hit the town for dinner so if you go for breakfast after 8 am, you're good. We stayed in for dinner twice because of heavy rain and the food was in the restaurant was great.

I would expect bigger wellness center for a hotel. Now they have only steam bath.

    Excellent breakfast selection.

I expected bigger wellness center for such a hotel. There is only one steam sauna and no pool at all.

The gardens and the Cafe terrace and ease of parking and the welcome attitude to our 2 dogs. Good breakfast and friendly staff.

    Shower in the bath.

Everything was nice, quiet and clean. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was wonderful. The room was large and comfortable.

If you go to the bar at night expect to wait a long time. The bartender isn't that attentive. He also can be in a sour mood.

It was our anniversary and they made it very special for us. They upgraded our room and put roses everywhere. We will recommend to our friends and we will return there.

The room was cold and all the extra heaters were taken so we had to still wear sweaters in the room

Staff was superfriendly and helpful. The bar is very nice. With some friends we had a meeting and could use the cozy library and got excellent service. The room was lovely. Internet was OK, but slow, and the free version needed irritatingly manual re-login, often more than once per hour. Breakfast was ok. We did not see any dirty places like some other people mentioned.

The duvets on the beds are too small for tall people (we are both larger than 1m90).

The staff was friendly and tried hard to make our stay enjoyable. Salzburg has nice city and outdoor activities for families. We enjoyed climbing the Gaisberg mountain and visiting the nature and science museum. We had a car and were able to drive to various activities. The walk to downtown Salzburg would have been around 15 minutes, I think.

The hotel seemed expensive for what you get. This may have been, in part, because Salzberg rooms were hard to get during the music festival and the hotel also seems to get to capacity with the help of tour bus groups. We had a disagreement on charges related to a rollaway bed. The booking process gave the impression that spending extra money on a larger room avoided a rollaway bed fee. I was told that the larger room wasn't meant for a rollaway, so we had to pay the fee, which didn't make sense. I felt we were in a gray area and I wasn't getting much understanding from the hotel, so I just paid the fee to avoid a prolonged debate.
