Castellani Parkhotel  

Fantastic room, similar to hotels in Australia. Room size, bedding and bathroom great. Great start to the day with big breakfast, kept us going until late afternoon.

I missed big fluffy towels and tea/coffee facility in the room.

Very big hotel. This hotel could be considered for "business" purposes. Located outside Salzburg at about 15/20 minutes walking to the centre. Parking is available in front of the hotel. Good choice for breakfast. Good size of the room, air conditioning available. Hotel staff efficient. There is a garden and a little chapel in the hotel area.

The room was not so clean. A lot of dust on the desk, on the bedside tables. We found a spider near the desk. It seems that the cleanliness of the room was not checked. A lot of noise coming from the street if you keep windows open. The price paid for 1 night (Euro 232 - quite expensive) was not a "discount" price, but regular price as written on the hotel book. Booking.com did not offer a special price.

Nice location and it is around 3 kms away from city center and so it is peaceful place to stay away from the city, at the same time well connected by bus you can take Day pass and travel well without any problem bus is available almost up to midnight. regarding hotel nice and good hotel and all the staff members are helpful and warmly greeting us and taking care and giving all the help to enjoy the stay and going around the city. only small grievance is they have not provide coffee/tea and hot water mug

Small grievance is they have not provide coffee/tea and hot water mug, which would helpful for morning coffee/tea, as weather is very cold in the morning, any way there is Petrol/diesel Bunk near 100 meters from hotel so we over come by taking morning coffee at this bunk and we had morning walk along the river which also near by the hotel around 100 meters

We stayed in the modern annexe connected by a covered corridor through a lovely garden at the rear of the hotel. The room was comfortable, quiet and spacious enough and the wifi coverage was excellent. There is a small business centre in the reception area for printing off boarding passes etc. The buffet breakfast was very good. Reception booked a tour and arranged for us to be collected from the hotel, all very easy. Our evening meal in the restaurant could not be faulted and was value for money. In all, our stay was stress-free and although the hotel is situated a little out of town, we enjoyed the 20 minute stroll along the river into the main part of town. The no 8 bus as well as going into town (a few stops), goes on to the Airport from virtually outside the hotel on Monday to Saturdays.

Although it was possible to obtain a jug of boiling water from the bar for our tea, it would have been much better if a kettle was provided in the room. The pillows were a bit lumpy.

A lot of comfort, big room, free parking, WLan connection is fast, good breakfast. Location is between old city and Hellbrunn/ All sightseeings and shoping are max 5 km

Due to park zone there are many midges and beetles

Well situated, nice hotel with a good combination of old, beautiful restored buildings and modern design. All amenities in the rooms, excellent breakfast buffet, free parking and free WLAN.Competent and polite staff.

The Castellani is a very well managed hotel. This is obvious from the time you enter the doors and are greeted by most helpful and professional reception staff. In fact, guests are greeted in a warm and friendly manner by all hotel staff. Special requests (eg.fresh milk, ice bucket, kettle) are delivered immediately. Breakfast is outstanding with a wide variety of foods and a very pleasant dining room. We did not utilize the restaurant preferring to go into the city which is 5 minutes by bus which goes outside the hotel. We could not speak too highly of this hotel, which is not cheap, but very well conducted indeed.

Die Putzfrau, die an der Tür klopft, nur um zu fragen ob alles in Ordnung ist. Das sollte man möglichst schnell aus dem Programm nehmen, denn es sehr ungelegen und nervig ist (für alle meine Freunde, die sich im Hotel befanden übrigens auch).

Sehr freundlicher Empfang, die Zimmernummer und der Schlüssel waren bereits gerichtet, somit war das Einchecken sehr rasch und unproblematisch! Das Zimmer hat uns positiv überrascht, sehr schön, sauber und auch mega-bequem!!! Das Badezimmer hat extra einen kleinen Heizer mit Zeituhr, und in einem kleinen Wandschrank versteckt war ein Mini-Bügelbrett mit Bügeleisen!!! Das Frühstück war ausreichend und gut, nur der Kaffee paßt leider nicht ganz dazu.... ;-(

Atmosfera particolarmente elegante ma non sofisticata. Personale molto adeguato e professionale.

Nel cenone di Capodanno ( 100 € a testa ) non era compreso lo spumante , pagato a parte ( 32 € per tre calici..). Ti fanno sentire come il classico pollo da spennare...

Beim Frühstück sollte der Kaffe am Tisch griffbereit zur Verfügung stehen

Sehr nettes Personal, hervorragendes Restaurant und ein super Frühstück; zudem gab es kostenloses w-lan auf dem zimmer, welches für einfaches Email-Checken absolut ausreicht.

Die Sauberkeit der Zimmer war sehr schlecht - ausser der sehr verschmutzen Vorhänge - waren auch Spinnweben inklusive Staub an der Decke sehr gut zu sehen. Die Hotelmitarbeiter (vor allem die Mitarbeiterinnen an der Rezeption) waren überheblich und überfordert. Die Unterkunft war außerhalb des Hotels im Mesner-Haus - was so nicht reserviert war. Die Zimmer waren schlecht geheizt und warmes Wasser war nur nach Rückfrage zu bekommen (Auskunft: wenn es nicht warm wird, sollen wir im Fitnessraum duschen gehen). Zum Mittagessen lagen noch die Brösel (nicht zu übersehen!!) vom Frühstück am Boden. Insgesamt war das nicht die Leistung eines 4-Sterne-Hotels. Sauberkeit kann man wohl überall erwarten - aber selbst das war nicht zu erwarten.

Ambiente, Lage

Il bagno turco può essere migliorato,... Tutto il resto ottimo!

Das es eine fußläufige Lage zur Innenstadt hat. Das Service an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich.

Wenn man durch das ganze Hotel läuft (Gäng, etc....) sieht man, wohin das Auge blickt Spinnweben. Es ist nicht sauber und daher für mich bei meinem nächsten Besuch keine Option. Das Essen im hauseigenen Restaurant ist so gut wie unmöglich, da sie erst beim Restaurantleiter eine Eignungsprüfung überstehen müssen (um einen Tisch zu bekommen) um dann von ihm mit Lob bedacht zu werden, alle Fragen richtig beantwortet zu haben. Bis dahin verging mir der Appetit und somit kann ich leider nichts positives über die Küche schreiben, da wir nicht in den Genuss gekommen sind. Es war einfach unsäglich.

Durchweg gute Qualität und Service.

Die Lage ( an verkehrsreicher Straße, die auch nachts ziemlich störenden Lärm macht ) ist weniger gut als sie in der Werbung vorgegeben wird.

-Die zentrale Lage mit viel Park und Bäumen sowie die Ruhe, trotz der Nähe zur Stadt -sehr guter und aufmerksamer Service an der Reception und im Zimmer -das gut geführtes Restaurant im Hotel mit kleinen aber sehr schmackhaft zubereiteten Speisen und Getränken -ein vielfältiges und reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet

-Im Außenbereich hinter der Reception im Garten, wäre ein Schutz (ggffls Heizstrahler ) gegen Regenschauer, Abendkühle u.a. sinnvoll -Die Bar mit den wenigen Sitzgelegenheiten und Tischen hinter der Reception und neben der Eingangstür wirkt ein wenig lieblos und stiefmütterlich, das gilt auch für die dortige Bedienung !
