I loved everything about the Senger Hotel. The food was delicious. The owners were so gracious and made us feel like we were on our honeymoon, we are not married but maybe we will have our wedding there next year!
I hated that we only booked our stay for two nights. We should have stayed longer.
Excellent location, staff and decor! The hotel is just out of a fairy tale book!
Wonderful setting and friendly staff. Comfortable spacious rooms.
Gorgeous location and wonderful hotel. Charming and comfortable in every way. Owners were both so helpful and nice. Hotel and rooms are immaculate. Breakfast buffet has tons and you are offered the choice of adding on a cooked egg.
Weather was rainy and foggy - nothing to do with the hotel, of course!
Excellent staff and the room was outstanding. We had a wonderful dinner and and breakfast in tier dining room.
The hotel was not convenient to walk into the village. This was not problem unless you are expecting to walk around.
Friendliness of Sanger family. Small size of Chalet. Location to town & National Park. View from room. Beautifully decorated. Food quality & selection were excellent. Price was great for value & experience received.
Everything. The staff were cordial and helpful. The room was large and delightful, like in an Alpine fairy tale. The food in the restaurant was excellent, but best of all was the view of the mountain from the balcony of our room!
i am so happy to came back again to this place. This hotel is still the best and i think that will never change. Thanks to the owners for your hospitality!Самый лучший отель за всю поездку по горной Австрии.
The hotel is very comfortable and well maintained and the food is great. As nice as that is, it is the warm and welcoming atmosphere that the Sengers offer that really make this hotel a wonderful place to relax.
Senger Haus is a lovely timber building located on a mountainside. The view towards the valley is just superb. Everything about this place feels relaxing. The sauna departement in the cellar, the nice and cheerful staff, the beer & extraordinary food (the Tafelspitz Place is divine) and the overall feeling is great here. Hotel Senger rules!
Friendly staff, great views, great food, lovely room. A very relaxing stay - wish it could have been longer.
I can't think of anything negative to say!
Hotel is in a beautiful location, sitting up above the village of Heiligenblut. We had a picture-postcard scene from our balcony. The hosts were very warm and friendly; very welcoming. There is a restaurant at Hotel Senger and I wish we had eaten there. Instead, we went back into town for dinner, and it was nothing special. The breakfast buffet was very good with an excellent selection. Everything at Hotel Senger was very neat and clean. Would definitely stay here again if we return to the area (which I hope we do someday).
The only two small things to mention: Wi-Fi access is limited (if that is important to you); and we found the beds to be pretty hard (but your mileage may vary). Overall, an outstanding place to stay.
Very friendly staff Great views from balcony Excellent restaurant
WiFi signal strength patchy
This hotel is a jewel! The attention to detail is amazing. The rooms are comfortable; the view is unbelievable. We rode the gondola from the town up the mountain; the views from there are incredible. When we returned, we discovered my wife's purse had remained in the restaurant at the top.Our hostess, Rosemarie Senger, made a couple of calls, and in less than an hour my purse was back in her hands. Breakfast was varied and very good. Dinners were also available and fabulous - a sampling of regional cuisine. The church in the town is well known and the object of many pictures and paintings, as Grossglockner is in the background. We can't wait to return for another visit.
Wish we could have stayed longer.
Very friendly host fluent in English. Great convenient location for the Grossglocknerstrasse. Quiet.
Very uncomfortable beds. Dark room with poor lighting.
The setting was wonderful. The staff were marvellous. The food was really good both dinner and breakfast.
very nice service and feeling
too much expensive, like a 4 stars in central London or Paris
- Romantic old style design - Very nice owners - Fondue evening was a great experience, very nice composition of a meal! - Our kids felt like at home and were playing themselves in a small garden
Gorgeous scenery and this chalet is very charming. Staff were outstanding in their friendliness and helpfulness
Very hot in room with no air con or fan during a heat wave
Liked everything especially the owners couple! Понравилось абсолютно все отношения хозяев и большего всего атмосфера дружелюбности!
Austrian hospitality is unparalleled, yet in a highly competitive field, this family-owned and operated hotel certainly stands out for its friendliness, warmth, and genuine willingness to listen and to serve. I would recommend without hesitation,
That I had to leave.
Unique style of the Hotel (great style, interior and exterior design), great food in the restaurant, very friendly, family style and helpful hosts who are REALLY paying attention to make sure the guests spend a great time in the area with a life time experience (giving tips & tricks, recommendation what to visit tailored to the guest's interests). Highly recommended!
