The hotel is not luxurious but clean, safe and very easy to reach from anypart of the city. The are some bars and restaurants around, this is also an advantage. The workers are friendly. The breakfast was simple but satisfactory.Around the hotel is so quiet, easy to sleep.

The location. Unfortunately, except the location almost everything was poor. 1. It start with the parking. although I in advacne asked for a parking place when I got to the hotel all was occupied. The reception guy directed me to a bublic parking-lot but I didn't find it. After a hour of searching I return back to the hotel an asked for someone that will show me the way but he said that nobody can leave the hotel. 2. The second incident was one day later, when the reception's miss break into our room, while we were sleeping; she said that we soiled a towel and our account we be charged. (BTW - she came twice). I visited tens of hotels around the world and I neve encounter such charge. finally we payed 20 euros. Bottom line - skip this hotel not because the redundant charge but becuse the bad hospitality!!!

City Hotel Deutschmeister is a well-run, clean hotel. It is in a reasonably quiet street. It is just around the corner from Roßauer Lände metro station, which gives cheap and fast access to the city and to Schonbrunn Castle. There are two problems with the hotel- noise and heat. The noise comes from the hotel's "courtyard", through which the hotel's many guests, cars and staff pass at all hours. I used ear-plugs at night to eliminate the noise, but the noise is so frequent and loud, it got through the ear- plugs. I do not see how the hotel can solve this problem without making major structural changes. There is no air-conditioning so, with the windows shut to reduce the noise, the rooms get hot and stuffy. When asked, the hotel gave us a pedestal fan, and this helped. I would recommend this hotel but for the noise problem.

Great location - just a couple of minutes walk to the nearest metro station. Good breakfast - lots of choice. Generally nice and clean. WIFI was an extra 15 Euro, which is a bit of a rip off, but at least the quality was good. Hotel was clean except for the toilet - I don't think it had been thoroughly cleaned.

The room was good, clean. The breakfast was good, though the breakfast room may be a little too small. It takes just 20 minutes lazy walk to the centre. The public transportation is very close and convenient. Actually there was only one problem. Just the last night when the hotel switched on heating our room remained cool. The system didn't work. We informed the administration but they were unable to fix it. Instead they gave our extra blankets. We had to go to bed much later than had planned. Eventually it worked out all right. But when we asked for some compensation the hotel politely refused.

Back off main road so not noisy. Staff very helpful, polite and respectful. Nice large room. Breakfast was fabulous - lots of choice and the staff friendly, they provided great service, it was good it finished later at 10.30 as we had teenagers who like to sleep in til 9am ! :) Only negative comment is it can be noisy in your room with the marble floors and you can hear the cleaners loudly outside your door quite early - we got in late the night before and thought we may sleep in til around 9am ( wasnt a huge issue ) :)

Staff on arrival was very accommodating. Location is excellent, a lovely part of town and easily reachable also with public transport. Staff then quite cheeky - heating in the hotel hadn't been turned on, so it was freezing cold. Had to pay extra for internet, had to pay extra for parking (€15,00/day!!!!). Breakfast was awful, ate in nearby café.

The breakfast was poor. The shower head was cheap and would not hold its position. My room was near the hotel sign that lit up at night, but it did not have blackout shades, so the room was rather lit up all night long.

The staff at reception were efficient, the room and lounge area suited my purposes - the easy chairs could have been more comfortable - and the bathroom was clean and modern. As I am not overly fond of lifts, they could perhaps be modernized to create a more dependable impression.

Friendliness of staff. Also the room had been refurbished, and was of a vetry high standard, (I have stayed there before) The only problem was that under our window was an open air eating/ drinking area, so as the weather was very hot and we needed the windows open, we had problems getting to sleep, and we were woken up early by the early risers having breakfast!!

It is a comfortable hotel with spacious rooms in a quiet, pleasant district, close to the Underground and Freud Museum. Excellent location and pleasant, cozy atmosphere in the hotel. It was noisy, esp. When people had breakfast in the garden.

City Hotel Deutschmeister was well situated almost next to the center of Vienna but in a very quiet place. City Hotel Deutschmeister was the ideal place to go round Vienna, relax and have fun. When I visit again Vienna, I will definitely choose again City Hotel Deutschmeister.

The hotel offered quiet sleeping in a good bed and they have a small garden terrace. The hotel does not feel like a 4 star hotel. First big issue parking, which was not available, though it was a condition for booking. It took 2 h to solve it. Breakfast is nothing to write home about and offers only the absolute basics and the quality of the food seems the cheapest they can get, as processed ham, and not so good coffee, the breakfast is more of a low quality 3 star hotel. It is difficult to get a good night sleep since the pillows are very large and bulky.

We stayed for 3 nights and had a very pleasant time. The hotel was clean and the room very nice. I liked the fact there was a separate seating area in the room with comfortable chairs. There seemed to be plenty of choice in the buffet breakfast, and the tables were cleared promptly. The location was good, being only yards from a metro station and only a short stroll into the centre of Vienna. The hotel did not do an evening meal but there were several good, affordable resturants just round the corner.

The bellhop and the catering staff were very friendly, The room and bathroom were very spacious, reasonably quiet surroundings.Loved having a small kitchen, Value for money. The male Receptionists came across, aloof, bored or stressed. The garage was a joke, low cielling, narrow parking spaces,i own a 4x4 and the garage was a mission to get in and out of the parking spaces.Rather save your brick parking infront of the reception for the older folks and for those who own bigger cars e.g.4x4 or SUV's.

“Our first surprise was an upgrade to an extremely spacious suite of rooms! We were more than comfortable in these beautiful quarters. The walk to the U Bahn was easy, and we were able to leave our car in the hotel parking lot and get about the city on foot just fine. The staff was wonderful - very helpful with our internet and with guiding us to the city. Breakfast was quite a spread, and the food was very good. We would stay at Hotel Capri again.” Janyce, Bothell, Wa |

I found the staff here to be very friendly and accommodating, and having free Wi-Fi was a great bonus. Also the breakfast is excellent with lots of choice.” Andrea, Milano |
