I have stayed there before and found it an excellent hotel. The price, food, location and the landlady were exceptional. I'll definitely be staying there again soon. SCR

This is the best hotel in Klagenfurt for 3 or 4 days!! It has a really good situation and the personal is excellent!! Good food in the breakfast!!

no English service at the reception, terribly noisy room - no possibility to sleep with a window open, when you close the window it's too hot - no air condition

We will not stay here again; we were shown to a 1st floor room which opened on to a bathroom and a spiral staircase to an attic bedroom with no window - only skylights!

This was our second visit and once again we were made very welcome. The location is excellent and Sonja the owner is very pleasant and helpful. Rooms vary in size and facilities but this is a very old building. It feels like being a guest in someone's house - a house with a lot of history. You can help yourself to drinks from the fridge and tell them next day what you had - this is a good indication of the trust they have in their guests. I hope people do not abuse it.

It's difficult to make a bathroom bigger in a building like this, but it's not difficult to put in some decent lighting. Or to serve hot coffee at breakfast. But I suppose if it's that important to you, you should stay at a chain hotel where everything is standardized.

Lage: Haupteinfallstraße an Bundesstraße, keine eigenen Parkplätze, nur am Straßenrand Zimmer: Kein Lichtschalter an einer Seite des Betts (Doppelbett) Frühstück: Nur einfache Semmeln, wenig Wurstauswahl (2 Sorten)
