Cityhotel Ratheiser

This is a very special and personal hotel with a good location in central Klagenfurt. The room was good, although a bit strange as the door led to a small room where there was a stair leading up to another, huge room that was the actual room with beds, table, TV etc. The toilet and shower was downstair. I really enjoyed our stay there and would come back!

Hotel is very pleasant with friendly staff and although opposite a church (I have lost count of the amount of hotels I end up in opposite churches) the church bells were actually not that intrusive to my sleep! Close to the city and a number or eateries.

It's a bit of a hike from the main station/Hauptbahnhof (15-20 mins). Ostbahnhof is much nearer but only local trains stop at this station.

A bit overcrowded with lovely things but it needed more space and the tv set is quite old and small, a choice of channels poor. The door of the bathroom can't open fully due to a desk placed very close to it.

Ambiente carino anche se un po' insolito, molto celebrativo della dinastia degli Asburgo, in particolare di Sissi.

La stanza era su due livelli, il bagno sotto e il letto sopra raggiungibile tramite una scala a chiocciola di 22 gradini. Non adatta per una coppia di anziani o per chi ha problemi urinari. Inoltre faceva molto caldo e non c'era aria condizionata.

A városközpontban van. A történelmi szellem sugallata, és a családi emlékek jelenléte. A szoba tiszta volt, rendezett, kellemes történelmi hangulatú, régi bútorokkal. A reggeli bőséges, és választékos volt. A szálloda könnyen megtalálható volt, és parkolási lehetőség volt a ház előtt. Kellemes hangulatú hely, a fürdőszobai kényelem hiányával. Összességében jó a hotel, bár ára lehetne kicsit olcsóbb fentiek miatt.

A fürdőszobába az ajtót csak félig lehetett kinyitni, alig fértünk be az ajtón. A zuhany is nehezen használható volt - padlónál mélyebben volt, le kellett lépni, balesetveszélyes! - (ez általános tapasztalat Ausztriában, h érződik az utólagosan beépített fürdő, ami sokszor kényszeres megoldású, sokszor nem működik jól.., de van, csak nem kényelmes, viszont az ár ehhez képest magas!

Zentrale Lage, netter Frühstücksraum und Teeraum, gutes Frühstück. Sehr nette Chefin, auch die etwas ältere Mitarbeiterin ist sehr nett.

Die Betten dürften schon ziemlich alt sein, denn sie krachen bei jeder Umdrehung so laut, daß man wach wird. Außerdem kennt sich die junge Dame an der Rezeption nicht wirklich gut in ihrer näheren Umgebung aus. Man bekommt am zweiten Tag kein frisches Badetuch und in der Dusche war das Duschbad leer (haben wir allerdings vergessen, zu reklamieren).
