Great location. Nice breakfast. I would stay here again.
Great location and our family room was a decent size. We enjoyed the breakfast and most of the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The room we had was looking a bit 'tired' and could do with some maintenance. We had difficulty with the wifi which was frequently dropping out with difficulty to reconnect.
Large rooms, very clean, perfect location, staff kind and helpful. Would recomend!
Overall a nice place to stay to stay in Salzburg.
Wi-Fi reception was poor in our room unless you moved close to the door to the hallway.
Generally very happy with our choice
Great room, great location. Great breakfast. Excellent staff and service. Nice coffee and pastry offering in the afternoon. Everyone was very pleasant, helpful and accommodating. Easy walk to old town. Easy bus access to and from the train station. We would definitely stay there again on our next trip.
Nothing that I disliked.
My daughter and I stayed for 5 days and found the hotel to be well run and in an excellent location, with a good choice of restaurants and shops nearby. Comfortable, spacious room with a lovely bathroom, excellent shower with lovely relaxing lighting above bath, loved the spa, swimming pool and sauna which hit the spot after sightseeing and shopping in fab Salzburg, enjoyed the free tea and coffee time in the lounge area outside, but best of all was Rosa whose friendliness, helpful enquiries at all times, and efficient organisation of our breakfast time started each day off perfectly whether we slept in or rose early - and the breakfast was excellent too. Thank you!!
Not much to be honest, a new carpet in the entrance foyer would be a good idea. The twin beds that we slept in were slightly narrower than I expected but did not spoil our sleep.
The staff are very nice and the hotel was clean.
I was very surprised by the quality of this hotel for the money we paid. Honestly, the hotel looks like it's in Eastern Europe and it is badly in need of a makeover. No air conditioning and when I went down to ask for a fan, the desk staff said they were out but they gave me a very dirty half broken one from the office.
Nice friendly staff and location. Special mention to Rosa who set the bar that much higher for people in the service industry. One of the nicest people we have ever met thankyou for making our stay so pleasent! Mary Mississauga Canada
Great breakfast Loved the family room, with 3 single beds in a separate bedroom Friendly staff Clean
Location of family room in small backyard addition building with no elevator for luggage
swimming pool was a good size. Staff very helpful.
We had an excellent room in the annex. It was very modern with good air conditioning system. Lovely bathroom with bath and shower over bath. Electronic blinds allowed good blackout at night. Helpful when you have young child with you. Hotel facilities spot on. Great breakfast and added bonus of free kaffee and kuchen in the afternoon.
Being in the annex meant going to the swimming pool was a but of a trawl. This is being picky though. Would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facility in the room.
I had to ask for slippers, body lotions, shower head cap and similar stuff in a 4* hotel. Also, the towels feels used-up and we found a dirty towel at arrival. We got a 7 a.m. wake-up every day from a church bell in the neighbourhood. There is a lady in the breakfast room who will raise you up from the table, just to confirm at the entrance the room number.
This hotel is intimate with friendly and helpful staff. The proximity to Old Salzburg made it even better. Our room overlooked a small courtyard on the back side of the hotel. It was of European proportions but comfortable and very well kept. Lovely place to stay. The included breakfast was exceptional!
At check out time, new customers opened our door with their own key. Ir was rude of the from desk to send them over with out us checking out. Seemed that since we paid in advance they didn't care any more about us.
Nice hotel very convenient for sightseeing.
The location was excellent for touring the old city, and close to excellent shopping. The "Residence" across the Street has Air conditioning which is needed if you are there in the summer. We got two rooms there as the family room we were first given was horrible. If traveling in the summer, be sure to be ask for rooms in the Residence section of the hotel. Buffet breakfast was great, as well as the staff!
The "Old" hotel family room has no air conditioning, and the shower is really a tub with no enclosure or curtain. It also seemed rather musty and over-used. Ask for a "family room" in the Residence across the street if you are going to need one.
Room very nice, comfortable bed. Fan provided for hot nights. Leaked the free coffee and cake in the afternoons. Friendly, helpful staff.
Our "romantic" room was over fussily wired with switches for everything. Curtain switches didn't work and the light on the magnified light in the bathroom was temperamental. Our romantic bathroom was impractical with no overhead shower which in this day and age is unforgivable.
The location was very good for sightseeing. The room was in the apartments opposite the main reception and spacious. Good breakfast.
No remote to operate the tv. Very frustrating as despite an extensive search of the room only a remote for the dvd could be found. Reception could only offer to come and help search the room for the remote and were unable to offer a replacement. Not something you would expect from a highly rated hotel at the price. Especially during the world cup!
Great service Location was good Breakfast was excellent
Great location. Close to Old Town.
Decor is funky. Rooms are small. Would have liked twin beds.
Nice location, friendly staff. Free coffee and cake in the afternoon was a nice touch.
Shower was on the long side of the bath. When you had a shower, water went everywhere.
SalzburgLocation, cleanliness, and breakfast
The room was so big and clean. The breakfast was ok
Good size room for a family of 4. Good location Staff were helpful
Shower in bathroom was too low and made it hard to use. Bells ringing at 7am was long and it would have been nice to been warned about it.
