location is perfect, close to shopping area and restaurants
Appearance and furniture old and outdated. Didn't know these old bathrooms still existed. Dark brown tiles and heating. Matras was too firm and not comfortable sleeping. Pillows almost flat.
Breakfast was fantastic --and front desk very helpful!!
Toilet out of date
Good location for walking to the shopping areas. Breakfast was lovely and delicious.
Elevator very small and parking far away
Hi. Liked the location and the quite.very original bedroom
Great location, great staff who were so helpful and welcoming, great breakfast, don't miss the ducks! We would definitely stay again.
Had to think hard to come up with something we did not like ... the only thing was no kettle in the room! But staff more than happy for you to collect hot water from the bar.
The helpful staff were good, a little officious to start with but they warmed up well. Breakfast was good and the spa area excellent and clean.
The room had a rool top bath but only a hand shower.....not what I would call a suite! the lighting was over complicated and many of the effect lights didn't work. The safe wasn't working the first day too and couldn't be sorted until the next day.
Location Helpful staff ask about tickets to concerts in Schloss Mirabell
no elevator to all floors in annex across the street pool water was cold!
Fulfils all standard expectations, comfortable, clean with very professional and pleasant staff
The credit card was charged at the booking time not at the departure
Perfect location to car park, which was discounted and to the old town where everything is. WIFI in the rooms, cupboard safe, cleanliness, friendly staff, free cake and coffee in the afternoons. Indoor swimming pool, sauna and Spa.
The room was too warm. We couldn't see anywhere to turn down the heat other than open the large windows. The shower in the bath made a mess on the floor.
location, staff, dvds to borrow
it cannot be called a luxury hotel where they think the stuff to wash ones hair and body are the same and come out of a big container...
The room 501
The church bells waking up everybody at 8 am.
Location is great -just a walking distance to the old city and just on the pedestrian area where all the restaurants are. The stuff is extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast is good with good service and selection.
The room is outdated while the size was good. The carpet and sofa have seen better days.
Rosa and Florian were so helpful and kind. The hotel is convenient for sight seeing. Lovely swimming pool and spa. A very special place to stay.
Perhaps the carpet and bathroom could be updated but does not distract from this lovely hotel.
A beautiful hotel, and the 1 bedroom apartment is great. Very good sized room complete with sofa. Free roadside parking, if available, until 9am a short distance from the entrance. The parking warden arrived at 9am sharp though! Excellent location and easy walk to city centre, with plenty of restaurants around the corner. Staff was friendly. Breakfast spread was pretty decent.
Wifi worked well when we first arrived in the early evening but did not work anymore when we came back later in the night and the next morning.
Excellent location. Fantastic and fresh breakfast. Teenagers' room was across the street and they liked it. We took the romantic suite, which is not romantic, but very nice for our four year old.
Swimming pool is cold. No towels in the spa.
Location was walking distance to all attractions. Helpful staff organised tours and shuttles. Complimentary afternoon tea.
Breakfast is great. Lady who runs it is constantly checking things are not running out and table service for coffee and removing used dishes is very attentive. Rudi in the bar is generous with his knowledge of what to see and the reception is very helpful. Pool is great for a quick splash. Family room very good size with separate room for kids.
My only real criticism is the WiFi which often offered no connection and at best failed to outperform my mobile data link speed.
Breakfast was good. Clean through out. Staff was very helpful for directions, restaurants, etc
Wi- fi in room
We had booked three rooms expecting them to be together or at least in the same block. On arrival, we found that one room was in the block on the other side of the road . Despite the fact that the hotel was full and changing accommodation difficult, the manager did so which meant that our stay was very much more comfortable and enjoyable.
Breakfast is excellent
Facilities are quite old
My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights at the end of a week-long trip through Austria and Bavaria and we thoroughly enjoyed Hotel Wolf-Dietrich! We had a room at the back of the Residence building that overlooked a courtyard, it was so comfortable and peaceful. The perfect way to end our trip. Everything in our room and throughout the hotel was perfectly clean and well taken care of, not to mention the staff was super friendly and helpful. So much so, that we realized it's been a while since we've encountered such a friendly staff. The included breakfast was a very good quality German/Austrian spread and e used the sauna & pool both nights, which was very nice as well. We would love to come back and stay again and we just might. We're thinking of returning to Salzburg next summer to do a bit of hiking in the local area.
Our friends travelling with us had a room in the Residence building that was overlooking the street. One of their metal shades was broken & there was a bit of noise from a function at a coffee shop the first night. Request a room overlooking the courtyard.
Really so bad stuff..I really don't like there.
We were offered a suite, the main bedroom was spacious which is connected to the living room. The location is good.
We were in room 304 in the building opposite the reception. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Good choice for continental breakfast
Television reception was terrible and wifi was hit and miss
