All rooms r on 1st or 3rd floor . If u hv luggage than it is too much work
Location to public transport, great restaurants and shopping was excellent. Family room was a good size, very clean and quiet. Breakfast was very good.
Desk manager, Andrew, helped us out with couple of emergencies. Very responsible fellow. Good breakfast.
The aparment dont have kitchen like the photo show
very good location and nice boss, very clean, will choose you next time
The nearest cross street Marahilfer is a huge pedestrian mall, with shops, restaurants, access to the U-bahn and Citybikes stations.
Breakfast got boring after two days. We sought out and found a breakfast place for eggs, omelette, French toast that was not too far!
best location, very friendly staff and very clean rooms.
Breakfast is below average.
Very helpful staff. Senior person at the reception is simply fantastic. They are very attentive and tries to help as much as possible.Very good location, next to the metro station, supermarket and in the middle of shopping district. Breakfast is simple but nice and okay. Nice restaurants within 15-20 mins walk. Nice Indian restaurant Bombay is about 1.2 kms. Pickup is done by the tour agencies. 15-20 mins walk to the Museum quarters or only one stop in metro (underground station name is Volkstheatre). 15-20 mins walk from the opera house also.
Lift is very small.
Friendly staff and perfect location
Nothing in fact
The young men at the desk were very helpful. Andy even came to our car and drove us to the hotel when we couldn't figure out the one way streets. He also led us to the underground parking less than a block away. Parking had been a big concern and this was terrific.
The main street, Mariahilferstrasse, was under construction which fooled our gps and made finding the place very difficult. The photo with a big signage is not accurate. The hotel is upstairs as described, but the outside has a small sign. Tricky to find the door.
Close to subway station. Very helpful staff.
A bit basic. Could use a face-lift.
Location is great. Hotel staff were helpful and nice. Our apartment was very comfortable.
Breakfast was not bad, but could be much better (more fresh fruit, biscuits, for instance)
staff was very friendly, great breakfast, location was above expectation, price was ok. we were early but the room was ready and they let us in without additional charge. staff helped us with luggage. hot water was not available when we came, but they fixed the plumbing promptly.
it is not a hotel but large apartment on the second floor of residential building converted to bb with 25 rooms. shower was late addition to the room and very small. room large but dated. way below expected 4 star.
Very clean room Friendly staff Great breakfast Great value
poor WiFi access - connection cut off frequently
Staff very helpful and great location.
Nothing all was good
Near the Metro Good Family Food Points near by
Breakfast is minimal Narrow Cramped Lift and Corridors.
We enjoyed mostly from the great location and the great hospitality of the staff.
Nothing we can think of
Our group of 4 friends recently stayed at this hotel. We were greeted warmly by the hotel staff. We arrived early and our room was not ready so our luggage was stored and then they gave us a map and helped us plan our day. We arrived back late in the evening. The desk is closed from I believe 10 pm - 6 am so plan accordingly. We were taken to our room and were so happy with what we saw. The room is immaculately cleaned and large (we had the family room). Our sleep was restful and there was no noise. Breakfast was simple but adequate. They stored our luggage for the day and we came back to collect later in the day. Some other posters complained about the size of the elevator. It is an old building with an old elevator so it is small. This should only be of concern if traveling with very small children and only 1 parent. If I find myself in Vienna again I will definately stay here again.
- very well placed, on the Mariahilfer strasse - close to the historic city centre and the Westbahnhoff - nice rooms, homely and pretty clean - safe location - nice staff
- the hotel doesn't own all the floors of the building and it's a bit confusing at first
The owner and his staff are as helpful as can be . Our room was quiet enough , clean and bedding very acceptable. The location is fine , U Bhan 3 Line right in front and it gets you anywhere you 'd wish to go . Many different stores all around . You can also walk down to The Ring in fifteen minutes or so . Same time for NachtMarket as well. The Merkur I hr Market across the street , downstair , a big plus for getting whatever you want as well as a fine eating place at fairly good prices. This hotel is a good value for what you pay for ( as long as you understand that you are in pricey Vienna that is ).
Their entrance is really not an hotel entrance as such but rather a business building entrance . ( If you are on your own and never been there before , it may not be obvious for you to find the entrance at first sight ). So its hard to imagine yourself in an hotel once you enter that building and take that very very small elevator to the second floor where the hotel is located . But once there , no problems , its a fine place. Their breakfast room is way to small to accomodate more than twenty costumers or so at the same time . Thus at time peoples have to wait out for a table . At breakfast time there is nothing hot . No toaster for your bread or microwave to warm up any foods . Still for a few days I think its fairly acceptable as far as breakfast goes . Finally I 'd say that by no standards whatsoever is this a four stars hotel . It is a good three stars hotel somehow . That's exactly what it is
Big room Good location
helpful staff, very good shower
standard not quite what expected
Although the room was small it had everything you would need - easy access wifi, good lighting, cupboard space. The staff are very friendly and hhelpful. We were able to leave our luggage nearly all day until we could leave for the airport. Breakfast is included in the tariff. The hotel is situated very close to a U-bahn station.
Rooms are very well furnished. Friendly staff, great breakfast. Excellent location.
The lighting in our rooms/corridor was somewhat dark.
