Goldenes Theater Hotel Salzburg  

4 bed room was actually two rooms...one with double bed, the other a sitting room with pull out couch. Very large. Breakfast had lots of choices. Staff were very helpful and spoke excellent English. Good location...about a 15 minute walk to the old town area. Many shops and restaurants close by too.

I Liked the location and the fact that it was quiet yet not far from the centre` of Salzburg! Plus the room was large!

Need a makeover and updateing decor is very dated!

Staff is very helpful and speaks excellent English. Breakfast in room was really nice. Our room had two rooms, one larger with mini kitchen, and standard sleeping room. Internet is free and easy to setup, public parking garage is nearby... It is just few hundred meters from walking zone.

It was a nice idea to name rooms after operas. The rooms were also comfortable and nicely oldfashioned. The short, bold male hotel worker was absolutely fabulous and very friendly as well the cleaning lady

The extra bed in double rooms was extremely uncomfortable. The lack of air condition was uncomfortable and you had to keep the window open, which allowed the noice from the street disturb your sleep. The younger receptionists seemed to loose the touch of good customer service in unpredictable occations.

Good location, friendly staff, convinient room. Supermarket-in 50 metres. Breakfast was tasty, thanks for all the staff.

We are a group of 8 ppl staying in a family room and 2 double room for 2 days. The rooms were clean, the internet was fairly fast, and the breakfast was good. It's just 15 mins walking distance from old town and train station. And restaurants and shops are around the hotel.

The attitude of some of the stuffs was not so good.

The location is ok, you can walk to old town and walk to take bus to Konigssee. To the train station, by taxi, it's around 10 mins. The breakfast is full range of choice. The Internet connection is good.

The facility Is a bit old. And it is noisy due to near by street. The heater is not warm enough.

Worth of money, excellent breakfest. Nice stay with family.

It was a straight forward pleasant hotel in easy walking distance of the city centre. The breakfast was good, the staff generally very helpful.

The only issue is that it's all looking a little dated/tired and could do with a make over. The towels need replacing!
