Goldenes Theater Hotel Salzburg

A fost liniste cu conditia sa nu deschizi geamul; parcarea a reprezentat o aventura si pentru o intarziere de 20 de minute am platit o amenda de 21 de euro iar personalul de la receptie nu se implica foarte serios in a acorda informatii atat de necesare in relatiile cu administratia locala a nevorbitorilor de limba germana [turistilor].

Recomandam receptionerilor in special sa se implice mai mult in rezolvarea problemelor turistilor, mai ales daca nu necesita eforturi deosebite.

Dim lighting made the room seem drab.

Good location. Rich breakfast. Lots of space, family room was actually two rooms.

Very friendly reception staff, excellent location - city centre within walking distance; excellent breakfast; suitable for families as there was a small cooking equipment within the room.

I was under the impression that the cleaning was not properly done in the room on that day - although bed sheets and towels were clean: I found a concert card that besides the bed and hairs on the bathroom floor

It's below average in term of facilities and room.

The room was very noisy due to the busy street below. No air conditioning and it was more like a 3 star hotel.

Friendly staff, free internet access in the lobby and good breakfast quality. Excellent austrian restaurant 150m from the hotel.

Old hotel with no A/C in the rooms. Should not be rated as a 4* hotel.

Very good hotel, and surprisingly good value given how expensive Salzburg/Austria is. We stayed in a family room (in fact two interconnected rooms) and were very impressed, with the room, with the hotel as a whole and with the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff (reception and restaurant).The locations is also very good - just 10 minutes walk from the Old Town and just 5-7 minutes from the main tourist sites in the New Town. We would certainly recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

First its central location,a nice 5mins walk from the river, across from the old town.Second the staff,as we were on a football trip with Bohemians FC v Red Bull Salzburg, we were keen to get a copy of said match off local TV, our night porter Richard duely obliged us with a DVD copy that evening,that spoke volumes of himself and the staff at the Cordial.We will definetly return to this beautiful Town and Hotel.Many thanks for a great and inexpensive stay !!!!

Very convenient to old city. Nice rooms. No free internet access which would be a nice addition. Fridge was a nice plus.

Pleasant and helpfull staff, good sightseeing trips and the location of the hotel being just five minutes walk from salzburg centre

The resteraunt not being open for evening meals most nights

The hotel was good for the price. They have a small kitchen for longer stays. The bathroom was great.

The street was a bit noisy and since it was summer it took time for things to quiet down. There were not enough pillows and the cubbards were all locked. The room key did not unlock them so I assume if we had stayed longer and wanted to cook, we would have had to ask the front desk for the key?
