Only a 10-minute walk from the Opera and the lively Naschmarkt Quarter, this hotel occupies a historic 18th-century building. It offers a free internet station and a rich buffet breakfast.

the bed was comfortable the bathroom was clean and I enjoyed a bath!! the breakfast was ok we found a very nice Indian restn not too far away. we loved Vienna!!
the hotel was not close to tourist venues. the room was too small we asked the staff to help us print our boarding passes and they were unable to help and the web sight was in german.
Position, was easy walk to two of the Christmas Markets and also there were 2 x supermarkets on same block, Tram and subway 1 block away, quiet street very friendly cleaning lady. Other guests were very friendly and helpful.
Hair dryer - must have been 30 years old, staff did not attempt to help with any locations of Vienna's heritage, staff did not attempted to help with anything actually. No kettle - asked for one from reception, to use cups we had to pay 3 euro per day for "kitchen use". Room was seriously over heated. Night receptionist was terribly unfriendly. There was no information forthcoming re breakfasts / dinners / facilities - therefore we only slept at hotel, we ate out, we gained information about best Restaurants, sights and which trams to use through the corner news stand owner (in German which I can get by on) and the Starbucks staff - they were friendly. Terrible television channels in hotel - best you speak Austrian if you wish to enjoy your stay with the staff and the facilities. We were there over Christmas and Christmas eve - there was no attempt at celebrating the event in the hotel. As to WiFi, only now on this review am I aware there was any.
Location, good for groups, friendly staff
I've been traveling with a family in Vienna last week and we choose this hotel to be our home for few days. It is a good hotel with nice location and staff. Breakfast was very good. It is a little hotel not so expensive and it is worth of the money.
If you are traveling with the car, make sure to ASK for parking spot, since you won't be able to get any parking spot in a circle of cca 1km. We parked the car in the nearest free parking spot which was 20min away from the hotel. Accommodation is quite old but neat.
Great location, very quiet, friendly helpful staff.would stay here again
Spacious & comfortable beds. The little nook in the room with its kitchen table, sink, fridge, cupboards. Charming.
That you have to pay 2.50-3.00 Euros/day if you have to use the utensils in the 3 kitchen cupboards. You have to ask for the key to be able to use them which makes the little kitchen restrictive. Could not use the Locker Safe because it was not working. The enter key looked smashed.
the lady at breakfast was very kind and helpfull , street and situation very good, taxi near, tram near, postoffice near, good restaurants near
e-mail did not always work, bathroom too small, water went all over , price -quality not adequat. raindrops on windows hindered from sleeping
The staff was very helpful. Decor is exactly what you would expect in a hotel in Vienna. clean and classic. Great location. Can walk to all the wonderful sights downtown.
The parking wasn't exactly user friendly but you can manage it.
We booked family room and arrived early, our room was ready. Also we had late flight and we were able to have late departure.
comfortable big room
was a very unpleasant incident with the room service emptying full jar of my facial cream. was very unpleasant, talking to the reception did not lead to anything
A big plus is the location - close to all the interesting. The food was good.
The furniture is quite old. In the site looks a lot better. We were in a family room with 2 older children. Bed for them was short and uncomfortable.
Everyone on staff was very pleasant and helpful. Their was a choice of 3 different breakfast possibilities. I had the "energy" breakfast twice, which consisted of 2 breads, a croissant and coffee. I also had the complete "all you can eat" breakfast twice which had a huge variety of foods to choose from - it was all good, including the coffee.
The location was excellent, enabling us to walk easily to wherever we wanted to go. Very close to subway, or bus and tram. The decor was beautiful, especially the dining room, and whilst enjoying a very substantial breakfast, the background music of Strauss or Beethoven added the perfect touch. All the staff we had dealings with were very friendly and helpful.
We felt it was a bit much to expect to pay extra to use the kitchen facilities in our room. Therefore, our cupboard remained locked for the week, and we just made do with our own plates and cutlery. If this is because of breakage, then perhaps a refundable deposit should be asked for on check-in. The price isn't cheap to stay in this hotel, so why offer a room with these facilities but then expect the guests to pay more?
Breakfeast little !
Dark rooms, no kettle in room with tea, coffee, furnishings old bit tired, terrible view
