Located in a quiet bay right at the shore of Lake Wolfgang, the 4-star superior Cortisen is the first boutique hotel in the Salzkammergut region. Wi-Fi access is available free of charge. We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The staff was really nice and provided a lot of info about the area. We had a lake front room that had a great view of Lake Wolfgang. The hotel was a short walk from the center of town and the Christmas Market. The hotel restaurant was also very good.

We have travelled widely throughout the world. I cannot think of anywhere else that has a better location, comfort, friendly staff, services and facilities. Our stay was wonderful and we will certainly be returning. There is nothing at all that I could criticise.

Boutique style hotel. All modern facilities you would expect in such a hotel. Wifi, ipod in room, etc. Lovely views from room across Wolfgansee. Brilliant place to chill out with superb food and facilities. Staff are brilliant and cannot do enough to help you. Will definitely return.

Good location. Excellent restaurant. Very nice view on the lake. Near boat trip and train to go up the montain. The bathroom. No curtain to separate the bath and shower from the open room.

Absolutely loved our stay at Cortisen. Owners have a very individual approach to each guest, all wishes are possible to fulfil. We had a wonderful speed boat trip organized for us and a great dinner. breakfast choice was wonderful as well. Hotel is a wonderful place for chilling out and laying on a pricate beach. recommended and would return any day.

Roland the owner/manager was exteremely helpful. He was very knowlegable regarding the area. Breakfast is very good. The hotel has a couple of rowboats to explore the wolfgangsee and bicycles which can be borrowed.

Die Lage am See ist außerordentlich, ebenso das Ambiente. Die Zimmer zum See scheinen den erhöhten Preis zu rechtfertigen. Die Standardzimmer zur Straße sind ungewöhnlich klein, durch den Straßenlärm unerquicklich, zu teuer!

Dieses Hotel ist eine Reise wert, vor allem wenn man originelles Design sehen möchte. Jede Suite widmet sich einem anderen Thema bzw. Stil und wurde hervorragend umgesetzt. Die Lage direkt am See ist top. Das Gesamtkonzept passt, es ist ruhig und die Küche erfüllt hohe Ansprüche.

Ein überaus freundliches Personal, wie man es nur selten findet. Beim Gepäck half sogar der Chef persönlich! Wir hatten 2 traumhafte Tage, in denen wir buchstäblich von der 1. Minute an richtig entspannen konnten. Hier ist alles in sich stimmig, vom Ambiente bis zur hervorragenden Küche. Eine klare Empfehlung an jeden, der sich eine gelungene Auszeit nehmen möchte! Vielen Dank! P.S.: Wir sind übrigens ein Paar mit 2 Kindern (11 und 14) und finden solch eine Hotelphilosophie - kinderfrei - trotzdem keineswegs absurd, kinderfeindlich oder dergleichen!
