Positioned in the heart of Vienna, just a short stroll from the historic hub and in close proximity to the conference centre, this hotel enjoys an excellent central location. It also boasts easy access to Praterstern which is situated just a stones throw away from the property.

Take a stroll to the Hauptallee, the main street of the famous viennese prater which has its starting point at the back of the property. Visit the Messe Wien, Vienna Fair Ground, which can be reached within 5 minutes by tram Number 21 or within 10 minutes walking distance.

All 55 rooms are traditionally and individually furnished and offer a range of modern comforts.

Hotel information

Vienna`s appearance is manifold from the historic city centre with its magnificent buildings from many different centuries, to the former villages outside the once-standing city ramparts, to the green hills of the Vienna Woods.

Very close to the city centre there is the Prater, an natural park that covers more than 5 square kilometers and was an imperial hunting ground until 1766.

Today the Prater has lakes from old tributaries of the Danube, meadows, grand boulevards lined with chestnut trees and the fun park with its merry-go-rounds and rollercoasters. However, the sights of Vienna are not the only reason for paying a visit.

A window-shopping stroll through the downtown pedestrian zone of the historic city centre, going to a musical or concert, or spending a cosy evening at the "Heuriger" (wine tasting taverne) - all these are only some examples for the many possibilities that Vienna offers to its visitors.

Along the streets leading to the Prater there once were inns where the coachmen could take a rest with their horses. A modern hotel business has emerged from such inns with its old arched vaults intact.

There is a limited number of parking places at the hotel and upon availability.

Pleasant small hotel close to rail access and walking to main square and other areas.

Poor internet system which kept failing and breaking down so could not get the benefit of free internet usage!

Staff friendly and always very willing to help.

Maintenance and repairs need to be done on a regular basis especially the furniture e.g. drawers had no knobs making it impossible to open

breakfast was good, the room was nice. the hotel was older, with that considered, the price was okay for what you got. the staff was helpful. was a good walk from the innerstadt and the ring - we did it & it wasnt bad, just a lot of walking. easily accessed from public transit though! liked the free parking & breakfast included -- many others on the site wanted 15 euro per day for both!

shower was missing a tile (recently fell off -- it was outside our door) and design allowed water to get all over the room. both toilet & shower room (separate facilitlies in room) were small and in desperate need of a fan since (no windows). the internet did not work in room, but the wireless worked in lobby- may have been easily fixed but didnt try at 0630

The receptionist was always very helpful. We had a free parking available. We could walk anywhere to the centre in 10-15 min.

Location was central

rooms had no air conditioning, our room was adjacent to the very noisy street; so windows had to be opened, resulting in a very uncomfortable sleep for all members of our party. I would only recommend this hotel for non -summer stay!
