The hotel is reasonably conveniently placed, near to the Mirabel Palace and only a short walk into the old town. There is a good variety of eating places within the hotel. My room was very small, with 2 very narrow single beds. The place feels as though it would benefit from refurbishment. At 18 Euros day rate, Internet access is very expensive. |

Went with 2 other couples, this is an ideal located hotel to visit Salzburg with good facilities inc the gym and sauna etc, very clean and staff made you feel welcome. When restaurant busy very slow service had to wait nearly 45 mins to get a drink tried to hurry them along with a couple of reminders but they appeared to be short staffed. When food arrived finally it was excellent and we returned the following night with a much quicker service. Drink very pricy from main bar. |

The location suited us because it was close to where my daughter lives. The rooms, especially bathrooms were very hot. Hotel staff did not attempt to rectify this problem. |

I liked the friendly attitude of the hotel staff. They were very helpful. And they were also very helpful when we asked to change rooms because our room was very small. I did not like that we were tred cheated for money. We were three couples who booked at the same time, the same rooms and was told to pay the same amount of money. It turned out that the rooms were all of different size. One was much bigger than the other. It is not accepteble to be asked to pay the same amount of money for a room that is twice as small as the others. |

I found the reception staff extremely helpful and courteous - it was a pleasure to stay at this hotel as it was quiet, clean, luxurious and the trendy mirrored gym and pool were a wonderful surprise! It was a delightful luxury I did not expect, and I will stay there again should I go to Salzburg - which I hope I will ! The bartender was rude insofar as I told him I wanted only a "taste" of some apricot liqueuer, not the schnapps, and he charged me for it (8.99 e or 6.99 e) even when I told him not to pour me 2cl. I did not drink this However, after I complained to the Manager, he took that off my bill. But if I had not complained, I would have paid for it, twice!!! That was the only discomfort I had there as I felt I could not use the lounge again, although I did, and just sat there reading! But other than this incident, the reception staff, the cleanliness, the quiet, and all the facilities and the luxurious pool all made this holiday a wonderful treat!!! And I tend to be a very critical person! |

An excellent value with a superb breakfast. It is quite well located in the city between downtown and the train station. Our room was small but adequate, and the staff was very helpful. |

The room was spacious, luxurious, modern, pleasant, comfortable. The bed was divine. Hotel is clean and well-kept. The breakfast and the food in the PitterKeller was delicious. The pool was small but pleasant, while the rest of the exercise area was wonderful. Our phone would not connect with the downstairs desk, so every time we needed something or had a question, we had to walk downstairs-very inconvenient. The young people at the downstairs desk did not seem very well informed. When I asked one young lady to find something for me, she basically told me to look it up myself on the nearby computer. I am used to better concierge service. |

Great location, easy check in, friendly staff, good size room, comfortable bed, pillows, comforters, and a large bathroom for a european hotel. Other comments suggested that parking was a problem, but we found it to be simple - the parking lot is on the next block, but you can easily drop your bags at the front desk before going to park, and there is an elevator in the parking structure if you decide to bring your bags with you. In europe it's very common to carry your luggage to your hotel (ie, if you're arriving by train, metro, etc) so we did not find it inconvenient at all. The 18euro fee is fine, if only for the fact that you don't have to search for parking in salzburg!! Breakfast was overpriced - 15 euro per person. There is a great cafe one block over called Cafe Fingerlos that is excellent. |

Location is ideal. Since we arrived by train it only took us ca. 7 min. on foot to get to the hotel. Breakfast buffet is fabulous. Rooms are spacious and very clean. No complaints at all! Would return again without seconds thoughts! Excellent hotel! |

Perfect location, less than 10 minutes walk to the main train sation, just next to the garden and old city. Very clean. Strongly recommend this hotel if they have special offer. One side of the hotel is facing the street, a bit noisy. |

Location I booked this hotel specifically because my husband is in a wheelchair and it advertised that it was disabled friendly. There was no disabled access to the main reception of the hotel - we had to go along the street and around the corner to gain access by a steep ramp and double doors which were not easy to negotiate. The only parking near the hotel is temporary and for unloading only so this meant trying to unload the car, leaving the baggage in the reception area, then going along the street with the wheelchair to get my husband in the hotel. The porter was very helpful but I really felt that he was helping us out of the goodness of his heart as his priority was obviously to be at the front door helping newly arriving guests. |
