close to the subway station room was clean price vs. quality
Big space and comfortable beds
The water from the tap in the bathroom is quite dirty.
I really liked the Cryston Hotel staff and the price is fantastic for the location.
Although the location is convenient to get to central Vienna, around the area it is a little bit sparse. Next time I would like to stay somewhere a little bit more lively.
Faptul ca are statii de metrou si tramvai f. aproape.
Found easily, parking on spot (15 euro per night), big rooms, good price for Vienna
they need to do a reconstruction for the hotel. We got a noisy room towards the road.
close to a tube station clean
it's an old facility, everything looks really 70s. but i got it cheap so it was ok! the areais not so nice, lots of sex shops and bordels
Great facilities,awesome designs and comfort!
The fact that we cannot smoke in our room it's quite annoying.
Cleanliness TV Nice staff economic
Hotel Cryston is definitely the worst place we have ever stayed at. In short, everything in this hotel is horrible: the corridors/halls are shoddy and dark, carpets are well worn and tattered, rooms are full of dust, furniture and closets doors are scratched, lights on the chandelier are not working, the rooms were very cold without any manual heating controls or additional blankets, mattresses were very hard (RailJet train seats feel like Tempurpedic beds comparing to these), showers have layers and layers of scruff on them, the sink looks as if it’s never been cleaned, faucet produces an obnoxious squeaking sound, the bathroom ceiling has traces of mold on it adding to the overall horror atmosphere... Although we explicitly required a double bed room, we got a three-bed room with separated beds; after the complaint, we got the room with two separated beds which hasn’t seen a breath of fresh air in ages, and was even filthier than the first one. The walls are very very thin, so were able to hear the sexual intercourse moaning from neighbouring room, and particularly, the vehicles on the nearby highway, just outside the hotel. Apart from that, we suspect that we saw a prostitute waiting for a client just outside the lobby. In the morning, we had to wait for the receptionist for more than 20 minutes to collect our room key, although we were in a hurry for a business meeting. Upon our return, yet another shock: the receptionist could not find our key as he thought we already checked out! After he found it (and did not even apologise!), we rushed into our room as we were extremely worried about our personal belongings. Luckily enough, all our stuff was there, and we hastily RAN out of this ramshackle “hotel” never to return again, EVER.
Good location to the city, to the U-Bahn, and shopping street of Mariahilferstrasse. Simply recommended
The underground station is very close.
Old fashioned furniture and rooms. Everything is worn out. They have 2 type of rooms, reconditioned and old. Do not take the old one! Rather choose a modern budget hotel not this one. Full recondition needed! However if you do not want to spend much you can sleep here. The hotel is situated on the ring so the air is full of exhaust gases and smells. If you close the window you do not hear the noice from the ring.
The showned pictures of the rooms at booking are of the renewed rooms which you get only against add. payment of Eur 10,00! About this we had very taff discussion with the reception desk and with the hotel manager next morning unfortunately without understanding and success. I'm a frequent traveller and user of booking.com service and I never had such a bad experience!
The position of the hotel was great. Metro station just across the street. Staff excellent. Petar that works at the reception was helpfull. And he speaks Serbian. :-) Rooms clean, and looked like they were renovated recently. Big screen tv, great light management in the room, awesome bathroom, heating great, bed comfortable, spacious room, fridge, safe, nice closet. Will recommend to everybody I know.
No free WiFi No free parking
close to subway and therefore to the city centre, easy to find, very good for the given price
Perfect location for my purposes, very good price
very old towels
Excelent price Suggest to the new rooms for only 10€ Near city center (only 3 stations) Near Hauptbanhof (only 5 stations) Looks coming from another era
Looks coming from another era Wooden noisy floor Noisy if open window
Family room is comfortable ,metro station is in front of hotel .
The hotel is 20 meters from the subway station. It is quite convenient in public transportation to the center. The hotel receptionist are quite polite and have good service quality for some personal requirements. I appreciate this. What's more, the wireless network is non-barrier and with fast speed. Almost everything works well.
Two double rooms were large and well apointed I had asked for adjacent rooms as one of our party had downs syndrome and we got oppisite rooms at end of corridor.
Being Irish I would have liked a bar but that is not a complaint.
I just love it, always stay if they have available room
Outstanding decor and finish of the room and bathroom in the renovated section. Subway station (Margaretengürtel) just a few steps away.
Too far from downtown for a casual stroll.
Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful except for some blond women who I believe was the owner.
My phone did not work, the room was run down and lacked maintenance (missing handles on doors, old run down and broken furniture), the room safe did not work, the elevator did not work so I feel sorry for those staying on the 5th floor. Overall the hotel is equivalent to an old toilet.
Perfect location. Friendly staff. I like this hotel!
