Staff uninterested and not cutomer focused

Perfect location and cozy rooms. We stayed there because of the heavy rain in Halstatt. But we enjoyed stay there, too.

Nice old hotel with spacious room. Fantastic views - especially from the terrace lounge. Perfect location for short walks to all the Old City sites and nearby restaurants.

Terrace lounge is open to public and can draw noisy crowds - especially on the weekend.

The poor lobby poor interior designing old bathrooms no amenities no mini bar no room service no variety of food in their resturant bare tooms and bare bathrooms dark corridors the hotel is poor in everything and old fashion

The location of the hotel is ideal. Just cross the small bridge to get to the old town of Salzburg where all the shops, eating joints and buzz is.

The design of the hotel is neither modern nor rustic...couldn't really make out the theme of our room which had purple fur trimmed curtains and zebra print upholstery. The wooden floors creak. No shower cap, moisturiser or conditioner provided in the room, it just had a basic soap dispenser. The bathroom was big but there were no racks or shelves to keep our toilet kits. So we had to keep them on a very small ledge right above our toilet! The breakfast is too expensive. No tea/coffee maker in the room. We got a room with a view of the river by paying extra. The wi-fi didnt work in our room and it was extremely slow in the hotel lobby as well. I would suggest travellers to look at other options in the vicinity as there are plenty of hotels nearby and to avoid this over priced hotel.

the bed room and bath room were very clean and cleaning staffs did very well. i was satisfied.

i stayed at a single room (room no. 404),the bed room was a little too small.

The hotel was old but had modern decor. Our room was a suite (604)and had a very large bathroom. The large King size bed was nice. It was very close to the city center.

This room is right below the bar and we could hear everything after 9pm through closing (and moving tables across the floor and dishes, which sounded like they were dropped on the floor). We were never asked at check- out about our stay so we brought up the fact about the noise from the bar, the woman at the counter said "ok"...that's all, no "I'm sorry" or anything. That was very disappointing!

The hotel is comfortable.

The breakfast is extremely expensive 19 EUR per person!!! Crazy rate! The staff aren't so smiley; they are so strict and not so helpful! Plus we paid 105 EUR to get a courtyard room with no view at all except the other building & with no breakfast!!! It's an expensive hotel!!

Beautiful views outside of rooms. Amazing rooms and service.

The very friendly staff at the reception, I was very early and allowed to leave my suitcase in my room and refresh.

I was stuck in the elevater, luckily with a nice man

breakfast is expensive but taste is very good.

The view from the hotel window was magnificent. We were given a room upgrade.

Good location Clean and modern

Staff pointed us to the wrong station to take the wrong bus to go to the airport. Ended up wasting a lot of time and had to call for a taxi in the end.

Location was excellent right next to the river and with a great view towards the old town and fortress.

Room decoration not really to my taste (zebra stripes and purple!). Floor annoyingly squeaky. Looked a bit sleazy if I'm honest!

Close to the shopping street and many interesting points.

The cracking sound of the wood floor when we walk in the room, made me worried as the building is look so old.

it was not far from the centre. the bathroom was good compared with the room.

it was very old. they tried to make it look nice but the floors were too old and you could hear a person walking from far away. the ceilings are very low. the elevator is a bit scary. the rooms too small and very strange fitted interior.

Very dark inside and the front desk employees seemed bothered by any questions I had.

The location is great, right across the river from old town.

Had a sewer gas smell in the room. It is an old building, plumbing needs updated.

Good central location and good views of the Fortress. Getting a bit tired now, in need of a refurb.

Broken shower, lifts unreliable. Noise from roof top bar open to non residents, no dining facilities and expensive breakfast
