Great Hotel. Staff friendly, great location. Great Breakfast selection. Dinner menu changes daily....again great food. We would stay again
Where do I start? 1. The hotel itself is really nice but the friendliness of the staff really made the difference. 2. The food at Hotel Regina is out of this world. Really first class! 3. The sauna area is well kept and very comfortable. My wife and I loved our stay.
location staff restaurant
old rooms very expensive for the comfort
Nice, relaxing and unformal atmosphere. Kind and service minded staff without being pushy. Having small cinema all for your self was an extraodinary experience. Lovely small SPA section, where you can recover after long day on ski. Simple and very tastfull kitchen. Suggestion to expand wine list with some Italian and French wines. This is definitely not the first time we visit Regina.
Problems with internet on 4th flour, which happened to be only a temporary issue.
Location and breakfast.Very good knowledge of english of the staff.
Chilly rooms in autumn.
we had such a wonderful stay in this little treasure hotel. the interior is very tastefully made. the view from the bar and restaurant are just breathtaking. we got along with the friendly and cool staff very well, they kind of adopted us into their family right away. our room was beautifully decorated, we just loved our view towards the valley and had a little balcony. thanks so much Regina, we´re defenately coming back
the hotel from the outside needs a little touch up. also we missed some storage space in our bathroom.
Good breakfast and excellent lacation.
Functionality of the shower and bad light.
We arrived really late at night to the warm welcome of Olaf. We stayed in a quirky eclectic room and had a wonderful breakfast in the dining room with an amazing view. This was the type of hotel that was full of character and one could stay there happily all day drinking coffee and reading. We really liked this hotel and the at dinner at night was great. All the staff, including the lovely Irish lady were very kind and made our stay very pleasurable. We would definitely return to this hotel.
Beautiful decoration and architecture, rooms beautiful, peaceful and quiet with balconies looking over the mountains. Great breakfast handmade from fresh ingredients and wide selection of coffee and tea served to the table. We were there off season but this is one of the best value for money hotels I've ever been into. Only good memories.
A coffeemaker in the rooms would be awesome - you really want to sit on the balcony admiring the view. A minibar would be good for this purpose as well.
All the staff and Cup of coffee
Nice and modernly refurbished hotel. Great views (at least from the 2nd floor)
The bathroom is poorly illuminated
Excellent beds! Very nice bar/breakfast room with wonderful view from the large windows. Clean and quiet rooms.
The ambiance and decor of our triple room were exactly what I expected, good taste and cozy. The staff was very helpful and kind, they fullfilled every request. It is a perfect place for sky stay for a family group like ours of three adults.
Lack of handles to hang in the bathroom
Best location, clean rooms and tasty breakfest! Nice place to relax.
The owner (waiting for me for late evening check in) and the staff (breakfast, dinner and Mr Lange who even lovingly prepared the sauna area earlier for me to be able to relax there alone after a stressful day) went over and beyond helpfulness! The breakfast was absolutely fantastic! Dinner also excellent. (-: I felt very much at home and will happily stay there again! (The back room full of couches and books also nice)
The wellness area could use afew hooks for hanging one's robe, but not so important. 8,Euros for a glass of wine a bit steep, but one does not expect Bad Gastein to be a bargain area. Note! No telephone in the room - but I found that a good thing.
-Very friendly staff. -Good breakfast. -Cosy atmosphere -Spa, with sauna and boblebath Lived on the 4th floor with balcony. Very nice view. Room was rustic but nice, and beds was small but ok. Would stay here again.
Fantastic hotel, everything was good. We stayed for 6 nights and would like to come back. I liked the good friendly and warming atmosphere; and our 4 bed rom was good for 4 people. The food, both breakfust and dinner, was also well prepared and presented with a great ambition and fine touch. Friendly and helpful staff.
Excellent service from all the staff. good bar with excellent coffee and cocktails. Nice breakfast and dinner. good ambiance. Nice Spa but lack of soaps and refill of towels, should have has user manual for the bubble bath. all in all a very nice stay.
more light in the rooms. more places to put away clothes in the room, lack of handles to hang clothes on. Could have been better housekeeping (one day no housekeeping, no new soaps when empty). better films in English in the movie room or simply a connection to a movie channel.better internet connection in the rooms.
Great family hotel. We must go back. We rested there not for the first year. Сonveniently located close to all facilities. You can say is the center of civilization in the region.
Very cold in the rooms when the wind blows from the valleys in the window. Had to sleep with our clothes on.
the staff is nice and friendly and the location central
throughout the hotel there was a horrible smell in the kitchen, even in the room: smother-. the hotel is very old and run down and in need of urgent renovation-radical.
1) Good price/performance (value for money) ratio 2) great view from the 4-th floor 3) reasonably big standard room size 4) friendly personnel
1) If you don't like German red wine - you don't have a choice in the restaurant, and can't bring yours even for the additional fee 2) Very small room for ski boots 3) There was no wifi in the room during all stay 4) If your ski suit became wet - you will have a hard time to find how to get it dry - no special facility either in the room or separately in the hotel 5) almost no water pressure in the shower at the top floor rooms
We definitely like the sauna! The steam sauna was also nice, but not perfect (inside everything was plastic). Towels, bathrobes, some fruits were in sauna for free. Staff were helpful and really friendly. The atmosphere in a restaurant was nice and breakfast was good (meet, cheese, vegetables, fruits, yogurt, muesli, boiled and fried eggs, bacon, bread, viennoiserie, juices, coffee). We had a balcony with a great view, room was warm, water was warm (40 degree max). The location is in 3 minutes walk from skibus stop and 10 minutes to the railway station and lift. Skibuses was free and we went to Sportgastein and Bad Hofgastein. Beds and pillows was comfortable (not that soft).
We had someone else orders in our invoice and the hotel wanted to charge it (more than 100 euro with wine and Moët champagne). We didn't order anything and finally paid only for breakfasts' coffee plus city taxes. Dinner in the restaurant are poor, you may order a menu or same dishes separately (2 starters, 2 main dishes, one dessert), nothing more. Carrot and apple salad, veal with boiled vegetables and rice pudding didn't sound that great. During the night we could hear every neighbors' step or cough, wooden floor was so load when you walk. Great that the night club was closed and lighting was until 10 pm. Breakfast was quite late (8-11 am), everybody came for the opening, because lifts worked from 8 am as well. Black tea wasn't black, rather green.
very friendly and helpful staff, good location, tasty breakfast, very high level Eve gala dinner with a delicious menu, comfortable beds
big problems to find a parking place (we are forced to park the car in payable public parking 1 day), very dark room and bathroom (the light from the bulbs probably with the lowest voltage),
