DO&CO Hotel Vienna  

The location was perfect and the room was quiet and comfortable. Theresa at reception was extremely helpful throughout our stay and a treasure. She also handled an embarrasing situation with the upmost professionalism.

The bar area while beautiful was not the easiest to relax and have a drink in. Although they were seats reserved for residents we were treated with total disrespect when we sat there one evening after a meal outside the hotel. Although we sat in a reserved area which was free for several minutes before we sat there we were approached and asked to leave to facilitate a couple who had eaten in the restaurant. It was disputed that we were residents in the hotel and we were very embarrassed. It was later sorted by a bottle of champagne to our room but it should never have happened and was very unprofessional. It really spoilt the last night of our stay.

Room design and comfor, location of the hotel probably the best in the city, internal view rooms very quiet; availability and kindness of staff;

Breakfast not included in price, nor offered at reception while checking in; non user friendly tv set (turning off), mini bar price list not visible in the room;

Location is very great near to shopping street. Good decoration and good breakfast.

Variety of breakfast. There should be more variety choice of breakfast. But all choices of breakfast are decorated.

The Design of the room, amazing location, nice bar and restaurant. Friendly Staff

The hotel entrance sometimes not very tidy, no coffee and tea maker in the room. The room temperature, it was cold.

The loud music in the restaurant. The noise in reception in the evening because of the proximity of the bar. The carpet in the hall outside the bedroom was badly stained and smelt. Breakfast too expensive.

The photos on the website made it for us! We booked one of the funky modern rooms with the fully glazed bathroom- because seriously if you dont like what you see in the shower- then maybe you are with the wrong person.. ( that goes both ways of course) I was very happy with the view. The room was large and almost as new lets just say sensational - we were fortunate enough to get one with an opening window ( not all rooms had opening windows) and we had a direct view across the square to the cathedral- which was very nice.. We would definitely stay here again.

we had no reason to complain or be unhappy with anything. The staff were very good, and the room was the best we stayed in whilst in Europe. The location was ideal however ...unfortunately my lovely wife walked out of the hotel and almost straight into Versace and Prada- which added to the cost of the stay....

The location of the hotel was excellent and very convenient for shopping and sightseeing.The decor was chic and stylish and we wre given complimentary champagne on arrival as we were celebrating a special occasion

The location is amazing...its absolutely in the center of everything. Dinner was excellent.

Dining staff was indifferent and unattentive...almost as if they were "too cool" or not well trained. Because of the location, a taxi or car cannot come to the front of the hotel therefore you must carry your luggage to the hotel through the square. On the first floor, there is no bellman or staff person to receive you or help with you with your luggage...a system should be devised to ring for help
