Stayed here twice. Room very comfortable, breakfast generous and area behind hotel is lovely.
Why does it always rain in Salzburg?
Nice decor, good breakfast. Away from the crowds.
Easy access to public transport
Great location for walking. Friendly and helpful restaurant staff.
I found the bed I had was really uncomfortable. I haven't experience this problem at any other hotel I've stayed in.
The hotel was very cozy, clean, and quaint without being outdated. The staff were helpful- we arrived quite late our first night, and the gentleman at the front desk stayed up past 11 pm to check us in, and gave us good advice and maps to go sightseeing while we were in Salzburg. The breakfast was very good, fresh and plentiful. Our dog stayed with us, and only cost 5 euro per day. It's a nice quiet area, and the Gasthof next door does a lovely dinner.
The only down side to staying at the Doktorschlössl was that the beds were very hard, and the rooms tended to be rather hot. With the windows open (it was between 50-70 Fahrenheit when we stayed), it cooled off by morning, but was uncomfortably warm again by the next bedtime.
Lovely quiet village location with a room that looked into garden and trees. Very good breakfast . Nice walks in the surrounding area but very close to city too
Nice clean hotel with comfortable beds, good European breakfast. 5 Min walk to the bus stop and 10 min into the city. Quiet neighborhood
A bit out of town.
I asked for a gluten-free breakfast and the staff actually attended this request. It is a building with history.
