“ Great location, just a stone's throw from the Danube. From our window we could see vineyards and the derlict castle on the hillside. Large rooms, very clean and airy. The manager is very cheery and provided a great breakfast, even eggs to our liking. Must access with an auto and has a large parking lot aloneside hotel. ”

Surrounded by vineyards and apricot trees, Donauschlösserl Spitz is located in the Wachau Valley and owns its own wine cellar and Heuriger, which is a traditional wine tavern. Die Wirtin ist ein Kummunikationsgenie und eine tolle Gastgeberin. Leider kein Aufenthaltsraum, was sich bei schlechtem Wetter negativ bemerkbar macht.

Die Lage des Donauschlösserls ist sehr gut! Direkt an der Donau neben der Fähre. Der Ortskern ist in ein paar Minuten zu erreichen. Das Zimmer und das Frühstück waren Top! Mit dem Rad nach Krems zu fahren war toll und ist vom Donauschlösserl aus perfekt möglich! Rundherum die Weinberge, welche zum Wandern und zum Heurigenbesuch einladen! Wir waren das erste mal in der Wachau und total beigeistert! Vielen Dank an unsere Wirtin, welche wirklich 100%ig bemüht war Einziger kleiner Mangel waren für uns die zu weichen Matratzen!

Die traumhafte Lage direkt an der Donaupromenade und die familiär geführte Pension. Hier gibt es noch Menschen mit Herz und ich fühlte mich wie Zuhause :-)))))))

Das Doanuschlösserl ist sehr traditionell gehalten, die Zimmer haben eine angenehme Größe und das Bad ist relativ groß und neu. Das Frühstück fanden wir bzgl der Auswahl mehr als ausreichend, alleine wegen der hausgemachte Marillenmarmelade beim Frühstücksbuffet muss man hier schon buchen :-). Wer hier am richtigen WE bucht kann auch hier Heurigenatmosphäre genießen! Wir haben von Spitz aus eine Sightseeingtour quer durch die Wachau gestartet-auch eine Donauüberquerung mit dem Rad oder Auto ist in Spitz mgl. da die Anlegestelle ca. 300m von der Pension entfernt. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt bei diesem Haus!

Absolute Rueh und durch die Hotelinhaberin hat man sich wie zu hause gefühlt....jeder Zeit wieder !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Das Internet war ausgefallen aber die Chefin wollte sofort einen Surfstick besorgen....super !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Das Frühstück war gut. Man hört die Straße und die Kirchenglocken. Das Zimmer war sehr einfach. Die Toilette befand sich im Bad. Die Lichter im Zimmer funktionierten teilweise nicht.

Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet. Fast nur Naturprodukte aus eigener oder familiärer Bioproduktion. Frau Pichler ist eine wunderbare und sehr hilfsbereite Gastgeberin, die sich rührend um Ihre Gäste kümmert.
