This small family-run farm house enjoys a quiet location in the Damüls-Mellau Ski Region. A ski slope starts in front of the house, a cross-country skiing trail is 500 metres away. Wi-Fi access is free of charge. All rooms and apartments of dr’Berghof have cable TV, a bathroom and a desk. Some feature a balcony with mountain views and a fully equipped kitchen with dining area. Guests can relax in the on-site sauna or steam bath after a day on the slopes. Dr’Berghof also houses many animals, such as cats, cows, rabbits and pygmy goats. In summer, many hiking trails start nearby, and a bathing lake is 8 km away. The traditional mountain village centre of Damüls is 500 metres away and provides restaurants and a supermarket. Parking is free of charge. From 01 May to 31 October, the Bregenzerwald Card is included with a minimum stay of 3 nights. The facility is new and is very clean and comfortable. It is way, way up on the side of a steep mountain, accessed by narrow but paved roads. Pastures on all sides. I loved it but my wife, who is afraid of hights, got quite nervous driving on the roads. The scenery is absolutely stunning - best of any location we had during two weeks in Austria and south Germany. Lots of hiking in the area. A ski lift runs to the top of the mountain even in the summer. Two or three very nice, three and four star restaurants in the area. Internet is come and go. Wonderful place to go for a few days in the mountains. We were there in late September but it is obvious that it is a big time winter sports area.

schöne Landschaft, ruhig, Hotel ist schön, für Wintersportler welche gerne selber kochen ideal. sehr abgelegen, für Motorradfahrer nicht geeignet, da es keine Verpflegungsmöglichkeit gibt (Nachtessen), auch zu Fuss in der näheren Umgebung sehr schwierig was zu finden

Chambres très confortables dans le chalet du propriétaire dans une petite station de ski à 1500 m d'altitude. Très bon accueil. Petit déjeuner copieux. Excellent rapport qualité-prix. Routes étroites et sinueuses pour y arriver.

Wunderbare Lage mit tollem Ausblick.Wer Berge liebt, wird sich hier wohlfühlen. Wir hatten ein großes top ausgestattetes Appartment, hell und freundlich. Frühstücksgebäck,Milch und Butter bekamen wir jeden Tag frisch von der sehr freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Chefin des Hauses. Sauna ist dabei. Kinderspielráum (klein, aber ok). Trampolin vor dem Haus. Vom Haus aus sind viele Bergtouren zuFuß zu starten. Alles in allem wirklich sehr zu empfehlen. Das einzige was hier anzumerken wäre: Wer Urlaub am Bauernhof sucht wird wahrscheinlich ein wenig enttäuscht. Es handelt sich zwar um einen umgebauten Berghof jedoch erinnert nicht mehr viel an einen Bauernhof.

Lokalizacja apartamentu niesamowita, latem widok na osniezne szczyty gor. Dla dzieciaków dobry plener. Droga dojazdowa na jedno auto, droga przez wysokie góry.
