Quiet place, nice location, decent price and conditions If you come from Italy, be prepared for a bumpy narrow road. I suppose the scenery is worth the effort. Had some trouble to find it. |

The hotel is in a very quiet location and this helped us relax after a long car journey. The owner was very helpful and welcoming. The evening meal which was included in the price was very nice. There is nothing to do outside the hotel, the location is in a very small village and apart from the hotel and one other there is nothing to see. Although it suited us to relax, it would have been nice to have been able to have have seen some other life in the area. |

We were a group of four plus an infant and had an absolutely wonderful stay at Edelweisshof! Max was a terrific host and our half pension meal was a treat as was breakfast the next morning. The drive up to Birnbaum is exciting and fun and though a bit off the beaten path, well worth the trip to find this wonderful Gasthof in the mountains of the Kartner. Travel to Italy is not far and can take you over the Plockenpass, also a fabulous and spectacular drive. We will definitely try to stay here again! Sehr Gemuetlich!! |

I really can't imagine a better value for money (half board included!). The room was clean, comfortable and had a balcony overlooking a picturesque landscape. The owners are wondeful and make you feel at home. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. |

A lovely, old berghof with a "heart". Very friendly owners who helped us carry our luggage upstairs. A big room with a balcony overlooking mountains, peace, fresh air and birds singing. Lovely breakfast. We had a very pleasant stay there. |

Wir haben das Hotel für eine Zwischenübernachtung auf dem Weg nach Kroatien gebucht. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und wurde erst vor kurzem renoviert. Der Stil des Zimmers (z.B. Fliesen im Bad) ist etwas altmodisch, aber das hat uns nicht gestört. Der Besitzer des Hotels ist ein junger, sehr freundlicher Russe aus St. Petersburg, der mit seiner Frau das Hotel führt. Beim Frühstück war alles bestens, frische Brötchen, Käse, Wurst,... Kaffee, Kakao, Orangensaft usw. |

Великолепная гостиница!!! Расположенна в очень красивом месте, в горах. Очень приятные и гостиприимные хозяева - русские ребята из Питера. В номерах идеальная чистота и порядок, отличная кухня и вкуснейшее пиво! Из номеров красивейшие виды на горы! В номерах уютные балкончики. Кристально чистый воздух! Очень рекомендуем!!! |

Sauberkeit schlecht, überall Spinnweben und Staub, Essen russisch eben, im Restaurant waren etliche Glühbirnen kaputt, daher sehr finster, wahrscheinlich, damit man den Schmutz nicht so sieht. Hatten mit Freunden 4 Nächte gebucht, sind aber nach 1 Nacht wieder abgereist. |

Das ganze Haus ist verdreckt, überall 'Spinnweben und Spinnerinnen. Im Restaurant, in den Stiegenaufgängen, im Flur, und in den Zimmern sind Spinnweben und Staub. Die Toilettenbürste war noch von den Vormietern dreckig. Im Kasten lagen blutverschmierte Decken und Polster nur so hineingewurschtelt. Das Essen (russisch) war auch eine Zumutung. Wie bekommt so ein Haus 3 Sterne? Wir hatten 4 Nächte gebucht, sind aber nach 1 Nacht wieder abgereist. |

Fácil de encontrar. Está en el medio de un pequeño pueblo. Buena cena y buen desayuno buffet. Aparcamiento delante. Lo lleva gente joven y el trato es bueno y agradable. En el precio ya estaba incluída la cena!!! al haberlo reservado por booking. La habitación espaciosa. Buenas vistas desde la terraza a las montañas. Muy tranquilo. Es un hotel sin lujos, modesto, especialmente en su mobiliario. Sin embargo, la relación calidad precio es excelente. Tenían un gato purulando por la zona del comedor (soy un poco maniático con eso). La comida bien, aunque en el desayuno, al ser de pocas habitaciones, se echaba en falta la variedad de productos (especialmente calientes) que puede dar un hotel grande. |

chambres propres avec très joli panorama acceuil avec anglais approximatif, pas d'explications sur la prise des repas. Repas du premier soir bourratif pas trés bon, le lendemain typique et bon, surprise au moment du réglement il faut payer en liquide n'acceptent pas le carte bleue. |
