Atmosphere of the building Cleanliness Friendly staff Location
Cheapest single room without bath/w.c doesn't have view. Window is just for ventilation (although it is quiet). If breakfast is included or cheaper, it would be perfect.
it is a classic, full of heritage and vintage inside the hotel. room was nice, big and comfy
hotel located in the main road, it's noisy at night
Location. Newly renovated room, especially the bathroom. Friendly staff, very good breakfast. Great value for the money.
Entrance has many steps to drag suitcases up
Friendly staff, good location, easy to explore the city.
every thing about this hotel and staff, such as nice and warm welcome, very helpful, clean room, good facilities, classy lift, location is the best.
the staff in this hotel really very nice.
they dont huv boil water machine in the room, its very unconvenient for me to get to the reception.
The staff! They allowed us to leave our big suitcases in the hotel while we took off to Hallstatt and Salzburg for a few days. And the wonderful thing was that they did not ask for a fee. Very wonderful of them.
old fashioned nice hotel. location very near to public transportation, to shuttle to the airport and to the main shopping .street
close to a noisy main street but with the window cloosed it dos't disturb.
good location，very close to metro and Westbahnhof.I'm very satisfied with the service. We arrive at the hotel early than check in time, they even offer free breakfast to us. Room is spacious，facility is convenient. Decoration is classic and elegant. Good choice in Vienna
Excellent location, excellent helpful staff of grown-ups catering to your information needs in a metropolis. Fine ambience. All basics in order, four star bathrooms, lovely historical lift and building, and I like the absence of air condition. I shall come back.
Nothing! - but if you need steel and glass and air condition you must go somewhere else.
staff and location!!!
The staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast choice was plentyful. Location was top notch in direct walking distance to Maria-Hilfe Strasse and right across from the West Bahnhof and several trams.
Not much to not like. Yea, the rooms were a bit old, but then it's an old building and we didn't spend much.
Just opposite to the westbahnhof. Convenient but quiet. I spent 2 nights in the budget room for 1 person and it's very cosy!
Nice staff! Really nice room facility and room service. Close to train station and other public transportation.
The staffs are nice, guided me quite detail of the places I need to go.
The hotel is right in front of Wien westbahnhof and almost at the corner of Mariahilfer Strasse. This is an exceptional localization for those travelling by train. The gentleman at the front desk was greatly helpfull in all our needs.
The hotel is really old and needs improvements. We booked a room ( Numbers 6), for 4 people and the two who had to sleep 7 nights in a sofa bed have had hard times. The shower, without courtains makes the bathroom stay all wet. Be aware that there is no air conditioning. We had no problem because the weather was cool, but in summer...
Very good breakfast, calm atmosphere.
No window, or ventilation, in room
The staff is very nice abd helpful. The hotel looks classic and gorgeous, also cheap! I can not believe I can spend a little money on this good hotel
Very close to the main transport station
stairs at the entrance
The helpfulness of the staff and the provision of a requested special diet.
Difficult stairs at the entrance.
Great location Helpful friendly staff
1. Location of the hotel. Right in front of Westbandhof, perfect! 2. The old school deco - a glimpse into how the old Viennese apartment or hotels must've been like. 3. Breakfast - delicious croissant 4. Staffs are friendly and helpful 5. Clean rooms and toilets
Thin walls and ceilings - I could hear people walking in the room above me and outside my room. It disrupts my sleep and I am generally a non-fussy, heavy sleeper. To me, it wasn't a deal breaker but if you are a light or fussy sleeper, this is not the place for you. Another thing is the hot water is a bit slow in starting, you will have to wait a while before the water gets warm. =)
Wifi is not stable and this is the worst hotel I've been to in my life time! Especially the receiptionist(old guy)'s attitude is super bad! He didn't tell me anything until i ask him and also not been notified whether my room is including breakfast or not, where shall I have it, where is my room etc. I was so frustrated and the room is super small! And I booked a one day tour but that guy didnt tell me my tour guide was waiting for me outside! I have to cancel my trip as my guide was gone without telling me! The only thing is the good location. However, I would not recommend this hotel to anybody as he made my worst days in Vienna!!
