My expectation is it's located in the vincinity of the Steeg-Gosau train station. Steeg-Gosau train station is under maintence and temporarily not in use, thus creating some inconvenience.

The view was stunning. The apartment was very nice and had a balcony with a mountain view. The owner was unavailable but sent a friend to meet us at the train station. This apartment is ideal for someone with their own car. Hallstatt shuts down at 5:30pm and we almost got stuck there. It would have been nice to have wifi to figure out schedules and options. I feel guilty even asking for wifi in the beautiful Austrian Alps.

I really appreciate with the arrangement of the Landlady who travelled twice to the railway station to pick me up due to the train delay and acted as my guide by giving me a lift to Hallstatt and Lake Gosasee. The apartment consisted of a huge living room and a bedroom together with kitchen and bathroom, entirely home-feeling provided. In terms of value for money, I would consider it more than worth. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the landlady for her great enthusiasm.
