This organic farm in Obertraun on Lake Hallstatt, in the Upper Austrian Salzkammergut, lets families, seniors and singles enjoy traditional farm vacations.
Located at an altitude of 513 metres above sea level in the world cultural heritage region of Hallstatt-Dachstein, the Osl holiday farm combines a quiet setting in the village centre at the edge of the forest with comfortable apartments, many farm animals and comprehensive sports and leisure opportunities.
We have a small farm and our guests will encounter horses on our meadows, and in summer you can watch hens with their chicks.
For children we have a petting zoo with rabbits, cats and guinea pigs.
Our farm features a small wellness area with sauna and resting beds where you can unwind after a long day spent skiing or hiking. Recently, we have installed a ski and ski shoe storage room with drying facilities (use free of charge).
The apartments are rented as self-catering apartments and will not be cleaned by the owners during your stay.
The Krippenstein Free-Ride-Arena ski area features a 11-km downhill run from the top of the Krippenstein (2,100 m).
Cross-country skiers can follow their passion on the cross-country trail in the Koppenwinkel nature reserve. Our region also boasts a series of other recreational opportunities in winter, such as ski touring, snowshoe hiking, curling, ice skating and paragliding.
The Dachstein-West ski area is about 20 kilometres from our house.
