Great location

Great location, lovely big room, comfortable beds, good breakfast - in fact, it was all good!

The location of the Hotel is good, we didn't have to use the car at all.

The guy at the reception gave us some kind of parking card and showed us where to park the car (we payed for the parking in advance, of course), but when we were leaving, the policeman told us that this parking card is not valid from 7AM till 5PM. The staff was cold, we didn't see one single smile.

George from reception was really great: solving our issues of arrival, check-in and even airport pickup flawlessly. The atmosphere is spectacular: old Vienna, partly beautiful, partly kitsch. Great location for first district and Volksoper. Huge bathroom, high ceilings.

No tea making facilities. Breakfast a bit dodgy (no vegetables).

It has a old Vien mood, but less comfortable. The price/quality is satisfactory, however the breakfest should have more choices and instant coffee shoud not be served as a coffee.

This is a hotel past it's prime, however, with work it could be restored to it's former glory. It has a wonderful location, lots of old world charm, in need of lots of small fixes and updating. We opened our windows to a Parisian style balcony with a view of a Gothic cathedral in downtown Vienna and adorned by huge cherub statues. However, the balcony itself had a lot of rust, exposed electrical wires and was in need of structural repair. Definitely one of the least expensive hotels in Vienna and a good value for the money.

The hotel is in need of a major overhaul. It is shabby-chic without too much chic. Wish I had the euros to buy it, it is a goldmine waiting to be returned to the old world charm it wants to be.

Very friendly staff. Not noisy. Close to city center.

Gamle stilen dvs. Ambiente, beliggenhet, frokostrommet. Rolig og hyggelig folk rundt omkring.

Mais hélas, personnel à peine aimable . Entretien des lieux non réalisé .Fil électrique qui pendouille!!! lampes ne fonctionnant pas. Literie complètement défoncée. soit eau très chaude devenant froide

Das war kompletter Betrug! Ein Zimmer wie im Kosovo! Der Hotelmitarbeiter hat ungewaschen gestunken, war unkooperativ, das Zimmer war klein und schmutzig und kaputt statt geräumig, ein Stahltüre aus dem Keller, Schrank kaputt, Vorhänge runtergerissen, alles in allem ein Frechheit

Die Lage ist optimal. U-Bahn und Straßenbahn sowie kleine Infrastruktur (Läden, Cafés, Kneipen etc.) sind vor der Tür.

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis mit 90 EUR pro Zimmer und Nacht stimmt überhaupt nicht. Das Zimmer ist abgewohnt, mit billigsten Möbeln und mit Möbeln vom Sperrmüll ausgestattet. Tapete hängt von den Wänden, Türbeschläge sind lose, Lack an Fenster und Türen blättert ab, Türen schließen nicht richtig. Das Bad ist das größte Ärgernis. Klobrille aus den Angeln, Beleuchtung schummerig, Schimmel an den Fugen, ausgebesserte Decke ist nicht gestrichen, die Box für Kosmetiktücher ist mit Papierhandtüchern gefüllt, Wasserhähne tropfen. Das Frühstück lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig. Das "Buffet" wird gar nicht oder zögerlich nachgefüllt. Käsescheiben liegen auf den Wurstscheiben, "Obstsalat" ist aus der Dose, der Kaffee aus der Thermoskanne ist ungenießbar, die Mineralwasserflasche wird mit Leitungswasser aufgefüllt. Fazit: Alt ist nicht gleich Antik.
