Franz Pension Hotel  

Nice location, close to the town hall (Rathaus) and kings palace Hofburg - just 1-2 minutes walk.

Old building, old rooms. Third floor, you have to use elevator to reach the hotel. Poor breakfast.

Great location

It has a old Vien mood, but less comfortable. The price/quality is satisfactory, however the breakfest should have more choices and instant coffee shoud not be served as a coffee.

This is a hotel past it's prime, however, with work it could be restored to it's former glory. It has a wonderful location, lots of old world charm, in need of lots of small fixes and updating. We opened our windows to a Parisian style balcony with a view of a Gothic cathedral in downtown Vienna and adorned by huge cherub statues. However, the balcony itself had a lot of rust, exposed electrical wires and was in need of structural repair. Definitely one of the least expensive hotels in Vienna and a good value for the money.

The hotel is in need of a major overhaul. It is shabby-chic without too much chic. Wish I had the euros to buy it, it is a goldmine waiting to be returned to the old world charm it wants to be.

Very friendly staff. Not noisy. Close to city center.

The hotel was in a perfect location, just one block from the metro/bus station. The staff was really helpful and the breakfast was great!

When I was leaving, I asked for a taxi at the reception. The driver was an atendant from the hotel and the car wasn´t a taxi. We had payed more for that service, it wans´t honest.

Отличный интерьер "старой доброй" Вены. Картины в столовой и гостинной, стринная мебель создает атмосферу уютности и богемности. Уважительно относящийся к постояльцам персонал (кстати говорящий по-русски) всегда готов прийти на помощь рассказав как добраться к тому или иному туристическому объекту. Все понравилось, спасибо!

La posizione centrale

Notare che non e' un hotel ma una pensione l' ingresso del portone non e' molto bello dopo le 22 non c'e' piu' il custode

La particolarita'dell'arredamento e l'ottima posizione

Carino nell'arredamento d'epoca, vicinanza al centro e mezzi.

Le strutture vanno un po' a pezzi. L'ingresso dalla strada è abbastanza squallido. Molto più Pension che Hotel.

Abbiamo soggiornato tre notti al Franz Hotel la camera assegnataci era grandissima con tre letti e una vista meravigliosa sulla chiesa gotica di fronte! La pensione si trova in una posizione davvero centrale (15 minuti a piedi per il Duomo di Santo Stefano), in una zona ben collegata anche con i mezzi pubblici e a pochi passi dalla metropolitana. Personale gentile, camere pulite. Buone possibilità di parcheggio nelle vicinanze a 5€ al giorno.
