Hotel Frauenschuh  

the location of the hotel, it was close to the city center and the outlet mall

The photo shows the hotel building from outside, which was fancy, and when they gave us the apartment it was in a crapy building next to the hotel, very very old apartment; the bed broke the first night while I was sleeping. I couldn’t open the windows because of the insects outside, and the sheep smell. The play ground was for the hotel and my children had to walk all around the apartment building to go to the hotel and play there, when my first choice to this apartment because of the availability of playground. The building was half for apartments and half for sheeps, the pictures in the booking.com shows the hotel nice building, which felt great when we checked in, but when they gave us the keys they told us the other building on the other side, which was heart broking.

Everything are great, the staff, the location, room, food (especially paprika and cheese).

Outstanding experience throughout

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel Frauenschuh very much. The surroundings and the hotel had a typical Austrian chalet feel with all the amenities. It is located a short drive to city centre with local bus service. The rooms are very clean and comfortable.The breakast was ample and served in a sunny dining area with a beautiful view of the mountains. The staff was very friendly and helpful to our every need. Thank you for your kind hospitality.

We had our windows open and all got mosquito bites the first night. When we talked to the owners, they plugged in an oil based device and we had no further problems.

I loved the place specially the natural surrounding and the disigen of the hotel. Over all its family hotel or can call it get away place. For me I got suit which had great space unlike other suits I seen in europ hotels. Trully I was in need to get away and it was the right place.

Only thing (apart of location which for some may be away from city center) there is a train line that pass by the hotel and make some noise that is not much noissy.

Beautiful pension located at quiet street , easy to find and convenient to visit Salzburg, few meters away is the bus stop. Fine, clean, big room with balcony. Nice breakfast, served in a fable room.

Siisti ja mukava hotelli

Olisi ollut mukava, jos hotellissa olisi ollut ravintola. Mutta sellainen löytyi n. parin kilometrin päästä.

Massima cordialità e disponibilità, ottima posizione per visitare la citta senza il pensiero del parcheggio dell'auto. La fermata dell'autobus è difronte all'hotel. Si raggiunge il centro in 10 minuti. Gradevole la presenza del centro fitness e della sauna soprattutto dopo una giornata dedicata alla visita della città
