In hiking the Alpe Adria Trail I stayed in many lovely Pensions, but this was one of the best. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and I especially appreciated the rolling shutters to keep out the light and the (minimal) street noise at night. Margot was a delightful hostess, and I was duly impressed with how she has almost singlehandedly managed the hotel for many years. The breakfast was excellent, and the price was very reasonable.

We had a room with balcony with flowers at the front side of the hotel. Busstop in front of hotel. Very quiet location .... except for one thing: the nearest churchbell will ''greet the new day'' at 6 AM (but remains further silent). Good beds. Room is clean. You can sit on the balcony. Room is somewhat ''old styled'' but it has its charme. Good breakfast with choice of lots of selfmade jams and honey's. Lots of cheese and hams, fruits, etc. If you need an extra, just ask for it.

Obwohl das Haus schon etwas älter war, war die Ausstattung gemütlich bis schön. Mein Zimmer mit dem sanitären Bereich stelte sich als ewas zu klein heraus, was aber für mich keinen Nachteil sein sollte, denn ich war ja zum Wandern dar. Aprpos wandern, da die Unterkunft sehr zentral liegt, benötigt man kein Auto. Will man aber den Zug in Anspruch nehmen, muss man zum Bahnhof in Mallnitz fahren. Dort sollte man, wenn man Zeit mitbringt, die Ausstellung über die Geschichte der Tauernschleuse besichtigen, die an Hand von einer Modelleisenbahn dargestellt ist. Wenn man auf der Suche nach kulinarischen Möglichkeiten sein sollte, so wird es etwas schwer, weil alles in der Hand von Holländern ist, die das Kärntnerische kaum beherrschen. Am beste ist, man fährt mit dem Zug nach Udine und lässt sich dort kulinarisch verwöhnen.

Sehr symphatische Gastgeberin, die mit guten Tipps in punkto Kulinarik und Wanderziele zur Seite steht. Die Pension liegt genau richtig um entlang der Möll, und auch auf die umliegenden Almen mit dem E-Bike zu zu radeln.
