Hotel Garni Evido

Mijn vrouw was een voormiddag ziek, grieperig. Het personeel heeft spontaan in de namiddag de kamer gepoetst en de lakens ververst. Een mooie service, zeker gezien het beperkte personeel. De eigenaar was niet te vies om zelf mee voor het onbijt te zorgen en te helpen bij het opmaken van de kamers. Ook de onhaalbedienden deden dit. Wat men zou kunnen noemen: multifunctionele inzet.

1. Het onthaal de eerste dag. Aankomst tot 22 u? We zijn aangekomen om ong. 19.00 u. Men had blijkbaar al naar mijn thuisadres gebeld om te vragen waar we bleven maar we waren natuurlijk onderweg. Gevolg ontvangst door een jongentje van ong 14 jaar die ons vroeg het saldo op voorhand te betalen. Ik was wat wantrouwig. 2. Op de kamer is geen koelkast.

Ligging, ontbijt en badkamer

Hotel zit op eerste verdieping. Slecht aangegeven en begaande grond is een ruimte die gedeeld wordt met de overige huurders van het pand. Kamer was warm, nadeel als je het raam openzette, was dat je dan last had van het geluid buiten.

Location very close to train station and only 10 mins walk into city. Very clean, friendly staff, nice tv, very comfortable bed and pillow.

On noisy street, but it is central location. Had to sleep with window closed but this wasn't really a problem. Location a bit dodgy, but again, near train station.

Good location with reasonable rooms. Free interweb is a bonus and was reasonably fast once I asked the receptionist to connect. Breakfast was fair.

Hotel is near train station, clean, secure, short walk to all atractions, good breakfast, very freindly staff

The rooms were very clean. The breakfast was quite nice, with the most amazing cake with coffee. Very comfortable, and they also give a decent exchange rate for your money.

I stood outside the hotel, ringing the bell for 15 minutes before one of the guests of the hotel came out, so I could enter the hotel. Very unresponsive.

Breakfast included. Rooms good size. Free wireless internet. Close to train station.

The receptionist was very slow booking us in - but he did let us access one room early to dump our bags. List was not working but the building is shared with business so not hotels fault.

There is so much noise from the street that it is impossible to sleep in the day/night. Poor Management.

The room is big and clean. Breakfast was reasonable. The check out time was flexible. The location is close to the public transport.

I have got the room in the street side, which was very noisy. The Pizza shop downstair was so noisy and make me cannot sleep.

Location of the hotel was very near the main train station, so we only had to walk 2 mins. Our room faced the street so it was kinda noisy in the day with the traffic (pedestrain and vehicles). That being said, the staff were very friendly, spoke perfect English, and the breakfast spread was rather delicious. Would stay here again.
