The hotel's facilities include a sauna area with Finnish sauna (90° C), Turkish steam bath (45° C), massage showers, a warming bench with a Swarovski crystal sky, workout room and solarium. Wellness, recreation and relaxation can be fully enjoyed in the generous sauna area with background music.

Admission to the local swimming and recreation area "Panorama Badewelt“ is free for hotel guests - don't forget to bring your swimming gear. Massage treatments and pedicure will be arranged on prior request.

A wide range of amenities is offered, such as a washing and drying room especially for guests, a shoe drying room, a specially secured bicycle garage and a workshop. There is a pavilion with a barbecue area available for parties with hotel guests on warm summer evenings.

Every morning you are pampered with an extensive and varied breakfast buffet with fresh produce from local farmers. Enjoy our breakfast buffet with cereal bar. We serve our substantial breakfast buffet daily from 07:30 to 10:00.

We also serve hearty Tyrolean snacks, fine wine from our private wine cellar, coffee, cake and Viennese Apfelstrudel in our original Tyrolean pinewood parlour with tiled stove. There is a barbecue area at the pavilion in the garden, perfect for sociable evenings with our guests on warm summer nights.

St. Johann and its surroundings offer good, cosy restaurants, typically Tyrolean inns, rustic mountain huts and trendy clubs. Your hosts Erika and Franz will gladly provide you with up-to-date insider tips as to what's currently "hot" in the region.

Our rooms are tastefully furnished and have a typically Tirolean country-house ambience. All rooms, apartments, and suites have bath or shower. Some have seating area, oriel, balcony or terrace with loungers and seats.

Area information

Experience spring in Tirol, experience Tirol in full bloom. While the mountain tops are still covered with snow, the valleys are turning green and the meadows are filling with flowers. This is the best time of year for a short-break stay or a long weekend. Cyclists, bikers, and hikers alike will love our region and its soft mountain slopes.

A marvellous hiking and mountain biking region in the Kitzbühel Alps is waiting to be explored by you from May to October. Some cozy mountain huts and a number of mountain railways are in operation until the end of October, depending on weather conditions.

There is a wide range of easy bicycle tours, some without any climbs to speak of, leading along our rivers and brooks and through our romantic side-valleys. For mountain bikers, there are uncounted trails to alpine pastures and to almost every peak in the region. Local trains and some mountain railways also transport mountain bikes. Especially popular: routes crossing valleys on ancient sales routes and mountain passes. We offer in-house maps and advice.
