Although about 15 minutes out of Innsbrook this is a quiet location with easy access into town. Bus stop is about 150 mtr from hotel.Parking is free,Price is right, breakfast is good would recommend if staying 2or more days.
The location was fine with great views of mountains and easy access to town The room was clean and functional
The staff were not overly friendly WiFi was poor
Simple with very professional staff, good value for money
Breakfast was a high point, with lovely homemade bircher muesli. Friendly service and very obliging. Well situated for Innsbruck but outside the city. Good parking
rooms are a bit old/dated. Very clean but the bathroom could do with updating and the shower wasn't very good
It is so nice and pretty wooden hotel with good mountain-view balcony. Especially, cappuccino in the breakfast is excellent!
Lift is not installed. It is quite hard for the elderly people to carry heavy luggages to their room.
Beautiful location - good breakfast.
Very dated rooms for 100 euro.
Lots of local charm. Enjoyed eating under the garden area.
Friendly and helpful staff. good quiet position as I did not want to stay in centre of Innsbruck.
Advertised as bed and breakfast but extra charged for breakfast.
Lovely comfortable hotel in the mountains above Innsbruck - yet only 10 mins from the city. Delightful balcony with mountain views.
Nothing to moan about at all.
very friendly hosts did their best to make us welcome, suggested places we could visit, made arrangements for taxi when leaving. Beautiful scenery and very close to bus to Innsbruck
great scenery. Loved the rustic charm. Breakfast was great
Proximity to Innsbruck Views from the room Our host was very friendly Short walk into town and a beautiful park with hiking trails.
Cannot think of a thing I did not like
Good value for the money. We were driving from Prague to Pisa and wanted an inexpensive stopover - turns out this was a decent, clean hotel in a really great location. Dining recommendation from the management for local fare was a 3 minute walk away - with really solid Austrian food, great view from town, very cute ski town. Some upscale restaurants in town that were busy if that's your desire.
Good location near Innsbruk! Best for travelers who need silent accommodation. Wonderful view from rooms! Friendly staff!
The location + the view!
I needed somewhere for a couple of nights near Innsbruck airport. I had no idea what a lovely mountain village Igls is. Great views of mountains, good restaurants and bus service to Innsbruck. Staff allowed me to check in early from my previous guest house. Very helpful re buses and nearby swimming lake. Very good breakfast and helpful attentive staff. Great place to stay. Beds comfortable. Lent me a towel for swimming.
Only problem was that whilst there was a deep bath the shower over the bath leaked where it joined the tap. Was going to mention to staff that it needs some attention but unfortunately forget. Otherwise great place and good value.
A gorgeous house with beautifully decorated rooms, friendly and very helpful staff, in a quiet area with a great restaurant in the village. We really enjoyed our stay here and would stay again next time we visit the area. We thought it was better than Innsbruck as there is no aircraft noise up in Igls.
The manager was very accommodating and made a real effort to make sure our stay was good. Particularly impressed with the time he took to acknowledge and talk to our kids (1 & 3yr olds).
Wifi - easy to get on but it did drop out a bit.
The location, the balcony, the wifi, the price, the friendly staff. Breakfast was decent.
We were in room 25 in mid-April. Our room became very hot in the middle of the night on both nights, to the point that we both had trouble sleeping and I had to take off all the covers.
The property is clean, relaxing and quiet. The location is quite beautiful and in a small area just south west of Innsbruck that offers a selection of cafés and restaurants if you don't want to drive further. Our host was very friendly and helpful. We would recommend this property. Not fancy but good value for the money.
Very comfortable and relaxing place to stay; quiet; if you look purely for bed & breakfast this hotel is one to stay; very lovely location and very cosy atmosphere.
nothing to criticise
Good breakfast. Nice rooms and nice and warm. It is a shame the hotel does not have a full meal service as the other hotels are inclusive of dinners. One tended to eat down in Innsbruck. There was a sauna and gym which I did not use because I feel you cannot lay these things on unless you offer mealsand drinks.Quiet situation good.
No restaurant or means of getting drinks/snacks apart from breakfast. Out of village a bit so really meals in would be preferable to avoid going down to Innsbruck. Only one restaurant in village that was not a hotel. Breakfast good and well managed. Most clients came by car and motored to slopes as snow line above 5000 ft. I was a non skier so visited resorts.lThe hotel advertised itself as Doors locked at 7pm which seems a bit harsh for guests arriving late. I was ok, but it could cause problems.
Lovely friendly helpful staff, comfy beds and big room
The towels need replacing
