Gästehaus Freitag

We arrived in the dark after a fall of snow, and the whole hamlet looked wonderful, with Xmas lights everywhere. We were pleasantly surprised to find ourselves surrounded by mountains, once the sun arose. Parking was in front of the village shop, and the staff here even were very obliging. The portions of food for our evening meal were so generous, we had enough meat over for the next days sandwiches. The location may be a bit off the beaten track for most people, but I would recommend it as a quiet and peaceful location in its' own right.

As the landlady herself was a smoker, the bar for us was off limits. Unfortunately we therefore did not get to socialise with the local characters.

The hotel is very good, very polite and friendly personal, the breakfast was absolutely delicious, especially fresh bread. I'm definitely adding this hotel to my favorite list.

The wifi connection, was not working at that time, but i think it was a temporarly issue.

If you want to spend a night in a genuine Austrian village, it's the perfect place for it. The view from the window is astonishing and you can feel and breathe the Alpen air. The hosts are extremely friendly, the room and the bathroom were very clean and the breakfast was truly amazing (one of the best breads we've ever tasted).

St. George village is so small that it was even not in our gps, so we had to ask the locals for some directions (we actually ended up asking at the Gastehaus Freitag itself when we finally got to the village). The wi-fi signal reception was very poor and it was only possible to connect to the internet from the restaurant downstairs. As it was required for my work, I asked the staff lady in the evening for some advice and even though she was so nice to offer me a place in a quiet back room downstairs in the morning so I can work, there was no one speaking English there in the morning, so I ended up sitting outside at 7am (BTW: the street noise level was surprisingly high at that time, considering the size of the village). However, if you don't need a reliable internet access, you won't find a better place around.

Everything was good! House very clean, frendly personal, parking place.

Everything was OK. No problems. Polite and friendly staff. Gasthaus was clean and new equipped.

Very good relation between price and service. Location in small and quite village (expect bells in near church). Good restaurant with local food and beer. Close to Spar market. Convenient localization for transit to/from Italy.

Pensjonat bardzo czysty schludny przemiła obsługa cena bardzo atrakcyjna w porównaniu do innych w tej okolicy zatrzymałem się tam w drodze na włoską Elbe serdecznie polecam.

Jedynym małym mankamentem jest położenie blisko drogi jest niezbyt ruchliwa ale słychać przejeżdżające samochody .

Linistit, curat, civilizat, prietenos. Recomand 100%. O experienta care merita traita.

Dobry I niedrogi hotel na nocleg podczas podróży do np. Włoch. Szkoda, że parking nie jest bezposrednio przy hotelu, ale jest stosunkowo blisko (250m). W hotelu przybyła przyjemna restaruacjia.

Przebywałam w Gasthaus z mężem jedną noc w drodze na wczasy we Włoszech .Hotelik pięknie położony w urokliwej małej miejscowości dający wytchnienie w podróży.Personel profesjonalny I miły.Hotelik czyściutki,funkcjonalny ,przyjazny dla gości.Rano pyszne śniadanko w ładnej restauracji.

Rzecz niezależna od personelu Gasthaus Freitag- donośne dzwony o godz.6 00 z bardzo pobliskiego kościółka.

Cisza, spokój I niezła kuchnia - nic wyszukanego ale dania smaczne I duże. Sympatyczna, mała miejscowość.

Oferta nie do końca była zgodna z ustaleniami przez stronę booking.com. W ofercie była informacja że za jedną noc nie będzie naliczana opłata lokalna a w rachunku taka opłata została uwzględniona. Nie jest to duża suma ( 3 euro za 2 osoby) ale trzeba pamiętać że na miejscu mogą się zdarzyć pewne nieścisłości I trzeba być na to przygotowanym.

Wszystko ok. Jedynie dojazd od autostrady jest dosyć długi

Grosses sauberes Zimmer, Frühstück voll in Ordnung. Kleiner, etwas abgelegener, sehr ländlicher Ort - aber dafür Nachts sehr ruhig. Wir haben super geschlafen. Preis / Leistung auf jeden Fall sehr gut!

Csodaszép helyen található. Tiszta, kényelmes, tágas szoba.

Wir waren mit dem Fahrrad unterwegs auf dem Drau-Fahrradweg bis Lavamünd und wollten gerne den Lavanttalradweg fahren, so fiel unsere Wahl auf dieses Gasthaus in dem wir gut gegessen und auch gut geschlafen haben.

Der Service war gut und lobenswert, uns hat nichts mißfallen.

Korzystaliśmy z hotelu w drodze do Włoch. Bardzo dobry standard, blisko autostrady, w niewielkiej cichej miejscowości.

Przestronny pokój, piękny widok z okna, spokojne miasteczko, miły personel.

Piękna okolica, piękna miejscowość, czystość, porządek. Polecam!
