The family hotel Gasthof Pension Adler is situated in one of the most beautiful mountain regions of Austria - the Bregenzerwald in Vorarlberg (35 km from Bregenz).

Our family hotel is situated in the centre of the small, typical Austrian village Lingenau and is built in the traditional style of the Bregenzerwald. Whether you spend your holiday in summer or in winter - our guests are given a very warm welcome at the Gasthof Adler, where the Fehr family will pamper them. After all, our motto is: Come as a guest, leave as a friend.

All children from 3 to 5 years are charged 60 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.

All children from 6 to 12 years are charged 75 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.

All older children or adults are charged 100 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.

Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

Extra beds and baby cots are upon request and need to be confirmed by the hotel.

Supplements will not be calculated automatically in the total costs and have to be paid separately in the hotel.

Hotel information

The hotel Gasthof Adler is a popular starting point for tours into the beautiful surroundings. Tours, tour tips, city/monument trips and cultural events are order of the day. You can think about Neuschwanstein or the what about a visit of the famous Bregenzer Festspiele.

From May to October all our guests that stay longer than 3 nights receive the 'Bregenzerwald Card' for free. With this card our guests can use all cable cars, buses and swimming areas in the region free of charge.

Food & beverage

The restaurant is famous for its Schnitzels, but apart from that, the cuisine is a mix of traditional and international. You can also get a special Vital & Light menu on request.

Room information

The hotel comprises of Single, Double and Triple Rooms (one double bed and one single bed).

All rooms have a balcony (including garden furniture) with a fantastic view to the peaceful mountains of Austria.

Area information

The Gasthof Adler is immersed in nature, in the surrounding is:

- A big health and spa centre, with sauna, massage, beauty centre, water park and fitness centre (500 metres).

- Schwarzenberg, where the famous Schuberiade takes place every year (5 km).

- Golf course (5 km).

- Bregenz, the city of the famous Bregenzer Festspiele and the Lake of constance. When visiting here, make sure you take a boat trip to the popular and famous flower-island Mainau, or visit the ancient Island-City of Lindau (30 km).

- Füssen, with it's famous castle - Neuschwanstein (50 km).

In addition to this, all over the Bregenzerwald (3-15 km) there are mountains and pure nature for great hiking trips or strolls, and in winter: skiing; snowboarding; and winter hiking.

The staff was very pleasant and very accommodating when it came to our one-year-old--they had a high chair and placemat all set up for him for breakfast each morning. Most of the staff did not speak English but they went out of their way to find guests that did to try to communicate with us. They were very nice and helpful!

The rooms could use some updating--they were not recently redecorated by any means but they were perfectly comfortable with nice balconies and a breathtaking view.
